Which Welder to buy?

Like Mafesto said go to your local welding shop and talk with them they will normally point you in the right direction. I have two Hobarts on 110V handler 135 for outside use and then the 220V handler 175 got it before they had the spool gun option. I use the $h!t out of the 220V welder and love it. When I bought both of mine the welding supply shop told me were the best deal to buy it was if they could not match it. Get the bottle too as long as you are inside it is the ONLY way to go flux core wire is expensive and does not work as good IMO.

Guys, thanks for all the feedback. After speaking with the welding supply store, I believe I'll start with a Hobart 140 Handler because it is $200 less than the Millermatic 140 and will be plenty of welder for my small projects.

anyone ever heard anything good bout http://riland super 160? a tig and plasma cuter? or used one?
