Which turbo kit would you get for your 2013 pro rmk if you could afford anyone of these.

Please feel free to post your reasons why choosing a certain kit.

If your in Alberta I'd go with Boost It.

First of all they're fairly close if you have issues. The other reasons:

Proven fuel system
Stand alone water to air intercooler
GTX Turbo

The only con I can think of is the price. Good luck on getting your hands on one I hear they're slammed.

If you are buying it today.
Here is what I have found
I Bought a Boost-it set up for my 12 Silber kit so it would run correctly considered the Vipec, but 3 months ago didnt feel confident that they would have the tune done. Went with Boost-it, works awesome. After the Boost-it install.

Rode the 2013 Hm Vipec at Revy. Awesome sled. But the tune is not 100 percent (little fat on the bottom ) I mentioned it to them, they agreed. I have no doubt they will get it perfected.
Points to consider
Aerocharger Not me, but performed very well. (no need for a oil tank)
Side mounted water to air intercooler (charge tube has to be a lot longer)
Oh by the way. 7lbs boost

Boost-it
Garrett turbo
Water to air intercooler built into airbox (short charge tube) less lag
You can also have e start with this system
Tuneable on the hill
Partial throttle boondocking is flawless(not fat on the Bottom)
5lbs boost and the sled rips

More confused.
Look at resale prices on Boost-it Pros
If you were at Revy on Dec 8 2012 your sled would probably already be in there shop.
Thats if you are buying one Today

What's the price on a complete boost it 5lb kit? Also is it a self install, or a drop off?

Just curious rather than being a rope and hassle nm, I'm 1100t this year but starting research for next.

He is $8k for his kit.

He is also going to start working on a non intercooled kit to run 6psi and is shooting for the $5k mark, not sure when he plans to develop it though.

Hi. What do you think of the aerocharger kit in general, is it worth the money? I have considered a aero kit, but the fuel controller is the thing that i have second doubts about.

Id go Boost-It, I personally dont like the Aerocharger turbos. The Boost-It turbo kits run awesome and are super simple to tune, troubleshoot, etc.

No direct experience with the Aerocharger kit. I think there kit still uses the Dobek fuel controller if it does that is the one I just took off my sled. Dobek make units for a few of the turbo guys and they have them private labeled.
Dobek has a new unit out but again no experience with it.
Im using a Silber kit with a Boost-it box and at 5lbs no intercooler and the sled is real strong.
You can find used Silber kits quite reasonable and get a Boost-it box $4k total and it works great

I know Boost It would have been great. One problem tho, i live in norway...:p And the last time i had contact with one of the guys at Boost it, they said that next season they could probably start to ship kits. For now they just mount everything on the customer sled at their shop. So i am thinking Bd or Aero with boost it controller..

I seen a group of BD turbo Pros built by VOHK on the mountain a couple weeks ago. My eyes were opened to say the least, never thought much of BD before since you don't hear much about them on here. But after seeing how responsive and fast those things spooled and how strong they are on 7psi boost I am now considering taking mine to VOHK for next year.

Not saying BD is better then the other two brands mentioned, I was just really impessed by them. I think that BD might be getting over looked on here by a lot people.

Boost it. Neil is great to deal with. I run lots of there products and all top noch stuff. Works flawlessly. Boost it fuel box nothin better. JMO
