Which new Helmet for hubby

Ok everyone I want to get my hubby a new helmet for our 25th anniversary. Now the question is what kind? He likes a full face helmet, and I want to get it silver in color for the 25th ann. So any suggestions would be helpful.. Thanks

A helmet is a very tough thing to buy, just because it has to fit just right. Some have pressure points, and feel just uncomfortable.
It took me a long time to find the right helmet...Maybe because I have a square head... It is a lot like buying boots, if they don't fit right, they just don't fit.
Unless he has one in mind, I would be hesitant.
As for quality, well the full face is not popular in the mountain segment so you might have trouble getting opinions.

I too just bought a new helmet for myself this week. I bet I tried on 30 helmets a 5 different shop before I found one that fit the way I want a helment to fit me. Fitting a helmet is harder than shoes. I would never by a helmet for someone else blind. I would suggest a gift certificate for a helmat instead if that is what you really want to get him. That too is tough to do since he, like me will have to go to several dealers to find the brand that "fits" right. Be creative. Write him up an "IOU" and be creative in designing it!!! It will be something to remeber, and he will get the helmet that you both want!

Kind of impersonal but what about a Gift Certificate to a local shop that has a good selection of helmets? That way he gets the right fit and the helmet of his choice. Under the tree put an old hockey helmet with a broken visor on it in a nicely wrapped box.

Ya find the oldest ugliest green and purple metal flake helmet you can and put a gift certificate inside. Then he can get the exact fit.
