Today's adventure. Just a kiss under 144k lbs. from Orem to Richfield Utah.

My wife starts her first job as an RN next week so I'm enjoying her company.

Here we cant be more than 50000kg's (52000 before we get a ticket) without a permit. Not sure what RN is short for. Here's a clip to show how some of the roads we drive on look like, had to get it before they were done widening it. No matter how many times I've been there, the heart beats alot faster in the winter in this area...

Well i'm not sure if i'm a trucker yet But i have been hauling equipment around on a fire crew for the last 2 weeks. I just got my cdl and endorsement in may and a company called me 2 weeks ago and sent me out it was a little intimidating at first but all is going well and i actually love it and can not wait for my next assignment

We have regulations on the total lenght, The just made it alittle bit longer, 17,5 meters for tractor with semi and 19 meters for a truck with trailer. Nowadays the only hoods you see is some tank-semis and on some heavy haulers (to spread the axels more).

I drive for mile hi foods. Drive a 2011 pete and 48' refer trailer, in South Dakota, and North Dakota.

I do Line haul ( pulling doubles to Spokane and back) and also a route driver. Pays good union bennys but personally cant wait to finish my degree and hang up the driving gloves.
