Wheres the thread about BYU dominating SDSU last night

When one guy accounts for 75% of the points on a team , there wasn't much of a team to start with. As far as giving the guy props... I will say that Jimmer is by far the best shooter playing NCAA ball, but his size and speed (or lack thereof) is going to hurt him when he gets into the post season.

Haha that's what they said about Larry bird can't jump and too slow.........And we know how that turned out!

75%????????

BYU scores 71 points in the game Jimmer scores 43...........sounds like 60%
BYU averages 84 points a game and Jimmer Averages 27.4........Sounds like 32%..........you must of went to school at the U!:D

That Jimmer is outstanding. Probably won't translate to the Pro's but he could have a career like Steve Kerr hitting open threes on the right team.

OK WHERE IS THE SNOW????????

BYU is the perennial pre-season tournament champions, but they won't get any further this year than they ever have unless someone teaches him what to do when the other team has the ball.

I heard that moron Greg Wrubell call this the biggest game in MTN west history... What a Moron.

Just curious of a b-ball game in the mountain west conference with 2 top 10 nationally ranked teams that was bigger than this one? Help me out here, cause they were saying the same thing on cbsc and it wasn't the moron Wrubell...

So what happens if Jimmer has an off night or gets hurts? All the other team has to do is drop into a zone and clog up the middle since the outside threat isnt there and result is the Y has a ho hum team that will probably win about 3/4 of their games.

I'm not denying that Jimmer is a hell of a player but I am saying that without him the Y is nothing special. SDSU was over rated and hasnt played anybody worth a darn this year exept maybe Gonzaga who was rated at #12 at the time but isnt even ranked now. BYU hasnt even played a ranked team up until the SDSU game and even lost to an unranked UCLA.

BYU may make it to the sweet 16 but they are going to get overwhelmed at that point by better teams and will leave the tourney. Lets revive this thread in March to see if I'm right or not. If not I'll gladly eat crow. :)

LMAO!!! Thinkin the exact same thing!!

Where ya at now FREAK???????????!!!!!!
Jimmer is an awesome player for sure....but it takes more than one to make a team!!!:cheer2:

Are you sure about that?

There's this guy named Lebron James. Last year he was on a team and they had the most wins in the NBA during the regular season. He left over the summer and that team is now dead last in the NBA.

And the team he plays for is not doing stellar either........just goes to show that one is enough, and 3 is too many!:face-icon-small-win

First off, Larry Legend had an NBA body in college, played defense and was able to score against NBA caliber players. Jimmer shouldn't even be mentioned in the same breath.

As for the 75% thing... I guessed. Anytime a college player goes off for more than 40, you can bet they score more than rest of the starters combined.

Remember Adam Morrsion? he scored a lot in college too.

The biggest game in the mtn. west would be ANY game that a mtn. wes team played in that was of significance. Seems that everyone in the bubble forgot the Utes made it to the national championship game....

Greg Wrubell said it several times on KSL news radio, so it appears that he is just as stupid as cbsc.
