I'm dying to go riding this weekend, anybody know where we could ride that's not more than a few hours from Denver?

Drove up to Jones Pass and looked for about 10 seconds. The roads were ice packed and the parking lot was packed with cars and trucks from people snowshoeing and X-country skiing. So we headed over to Corona Pass.

How was Corona? I need to break in the new sled!!

It's decent! There are some bare spots here and there, but overall pretty well covered. Grand Adventures is running tours so the road is getting packed down nicely. I'm looking at the divide out my window, and it's pretty dark over Corona.

If any of you guys go up, try not to take any trailers! You need to drive in through Lakota and go up the logging road about 1.5 miles to get into snow, there is not really anywhere to turn a trailer around unless you back it out 300 yards or so.

Thanks for the report Tec--it seems that the Mile-Hi club made the right decision NOT to bring a dozen or more trailers and the State rig up the road. Grand Adventures has their own access so next time, lets have an honest report.
