Who could forget that episode! They had the whole forum wrapped up into that mess. If I am not mistaken, marty left his wife during his "illness" and another female member started dating him over the net. Oh the good ole days.
I would bet that Marty was one of Gimps Alters
Damn that is sad, We had a lady do a bunch of fundraising for her 6 year old daughter that was sick with some crazy illness last year. Truth comes out the only problem with the daughter was the mother was self medicating her to be sick
The mother blew over $30k donated dollars in the f-ing casino! She is gone away for a while now & the girl has a real life now.
This Marty guy had a company that picked up scrap paper for recycling. My wife is a teacher and remembers him being in the school picking up the bags of scrap paper the same time that they were supposedly in Sweden getting the radical new treatment.
When the truth finally came out, the initial response was that the story was legit and the member who figured it out was wrong. Eventually the truth shall set you free and it all came out in the wash.
isn't gimpster a little too old for an imaginary friend? i always knew half of his posts were bulls**t. like the one where he was upset with the way his neighbor plowed the snow off of his "estate". and the one where he put spikes or something around his swing-away mailbox. what a bedwetter.
The Best thing about the REP thread was all the great people that met there and corresponded on a regular basis. Rep was a small part of it. Then the tool Gumpster took it to far and got all competitive. It was all in fun. Getting to know a lot of the folks on hear was great!!! It wasn't about the rep, never was!

Then the tool Gumpster took it to far and got all competitive. It was all in fun. Getting to know a lot of the folks on hear was great!!! It wasn't about the rep, never was!

So now that Gimpster is gone, why don't they go back to letting a rep thread run it's course? I agree that it was kinda fun in the begining.

yep, but that would imply that I am not so cheap as to own a laptop.
I would rather spend my money on gas and mod parts than a laptop.
