Where to go on Mt Baker Washington

New to state and live near Puyallup. Have only rode in greenwater area where there is alot of tree's and rocks to deal with. I like a challenge but I need bigger stuff and more open area would be nice. Nice trails up there but I prefere to stay off the trails, Steep and Deep or even some rolling hills. I see alot of pictures of nice area's in Mt Baker but there is alot of snow parks. Anyone help me out with some info, need to leave Greenwater behind.

schribers are glacier creek are your only options , bearpaw is the best but canyon creek rd is closed so you cant get there.

Wow, mt baker is going to be a looong drive for you brother...Ive been outta the loop for a little while is excelcior(sp) still open?

Gold creek or Stampede pass would be a little closer for a day trip, Baker you almost need to just stay the weekend up there

Here's is the directions to the Schriebers snopark.

Take a buddy or meet up with someone. It is wicked deep right now and not a good place to explore on your own.

A guy can get puckered up in a hurry if the weather comes in and there are only a few ways out.
