Where is a good snowmobile resort 5-7 hrs from Seattle w/sled rentals

The wife would like to go some place for a little sled get away with the option for a sled rental by day and a spa for the afternoon and night. I want to try and stay no more than 7 hours away.

Any ideas is much appreciated,

Thanks

I would recommend Sunriver in Bend Oregon. Resort community with various Spa facilities and great restaurants. Also multiple places to rent sleds from, even guided snowmobile tours. There are over 500 miles of trails and the grooming is pretty good. You can even ride or snowcat into resorts to eat lunch or stay.

There is a Log Cabin resort in the Fish Lake area that does guided tours. Some as much as 5 hrs, and its only 2 and half hours away. They are not rentals in the fashion that you rent and go, they take you out. Go for a ride during the day and spend the evening either at the cabins or in Leavenworth. They also do night rides. Trail system is some of the best in the state.

Good luck

mountain springs lodge in lake wenatchee area has snowmobile tours that take you out, then can cruise down to leavenworth for a spa treatment and dinner and a drink!!!!!!!

Another vote for Sunriver, OR. My folks have a place down there, lots of great snowmobiling. Just got back from a trip there for the holidays and took my family out for a trail ride one day. The Mt. Bachelor/Moon Mtn Area and Paulina has awesome riding for all skill levels.

You can stay in the Sunriver Lodge, or rent a house in Sunriver and hit the spa. I sent the wife to the spa with my sister one day when I went riding. :)

Check out Mountain Performance Rentals out of La Pine (South of Sunriver 10 miles or so). Good guys with newer sleds, even M8's if your so inclined. I rent from them every couple years and they always treat me good. Now you can ride straight into Paulina from their new facility too:

Good idea Ranger, but I still am trying to convince her of the fun factor side of it not so much the money pit side of our sport. I don't want to scare her off to soon. LOL

Yeah, that's gonna happen!

That would be the fastest way to scare her away from sledding.
Put her on that heavy monster....

"Here you go sweatie, have fun":D

The full meal deal---PM RGM on here--he runs a guide and sled rental service out of Whistler--Pemeberton---but you could stay in Whistler village for the fun factor--and ride with RGM and see the untouched and best areas up there that the others can not take you too..

H20SKE...

I rode down in Sunriver (mt. bachelor) Its a nice area with fun for everyone. We took a buddy who had never ridden a sled before and the terrain was easy enough that he could follow us around, yet offered up the opportunity for fun for the more experienced in the group. I would go back without a second thought.
