Doing weight loss on sleds and I want to see what the real results are. Where do I find one of those digital scales I see on Snowest? The hanging style scales where you use a chain hoist or cherry picker and hang the sled by the bars? Or if someone knows who makes them or what the name of that type of scale I can search out a source.

Grainger, McMaster Carr, MSC, Fastenal, Amazon,ULine are good bets for crane/hoist scales.

I use a 50 lb digital fish scale for checking individual parts. Weights are very repeatable to an ounce or less. For total weight have used a 550 lb spring scale from Cabella's, not the greatest but cheap. Will have to get one of those digital
ones posted previous. Couldn't find the digital's few years back for a reasonable price.

Weighing all parts coming off and back on works. My mod 08 TNT with 600 carb weighs only about 365 lbs dry with a 15 X 141 X 2.25 track. Lots of fun to ride because of low weight.

Good Luck

I bought this model to weigh my Nytro. Its rated at 5K so you can do side x sides, small cars, ect. and it's still accurate to within a pound. I did a bunch of research and called around and it sounded like the most bang for the buck, plus durable and made for outdoor use.
