Where are you from ?

I'm a Sandhiller now living in WY. Someday I will get back to the hills, best country in the world IMO.

My ancestory is German, Dutch, Irish, Scotch, English, Austrian, Swede, French, and Native American.

Started life as a desert rat in Yerington NV, took a ride in a F14 at 15 YO (CAP). Joined the navy thinking to fly. found something I was much better at, spent several years swimming the big slaltie, neutralizing, blowing stuff up and helping policy makers. Lost some good freinds. got tired of micro managers. Moved to Logan met an intelligent girl, got married. Moved to Smithfield and am just trying to raise good kids. and teach The only thing I'm good at.

Born in New Jersey...Lived most of my life in Michigan just north of Detroit... Currently I'm out in Utah living in what my family called "goody two-shoes town" Polish / Russian descent :beer;

.."And we Sir we have determined that you are that you a hunter, a Sunday church going indidual ...a husband with 3 kids ..drives 2005 Suburban ...and attends a monthly NRA meeting ."Sir can you please come with us "???

ancestors were kicked out of germany about 6 hundred years ago during the land wars (they had none)....so they went to nomandy and became sea raiders, which worked out well, as they saved enough money to buy several farms in england, where they stayed for a couple of hundred years, at which point there were too many descendants to work the land, so three brothers left for america and ended up in southern idaho (downey)...ww II took my father into the military and took me several places in the world i never want to see again.....vietnam sucked me into the military also, and i became a fighter pilot flying f-105s and later f-16s.....still later, b-737s for over 30 years for a well known air carrier....met a canadian girl who grew up on a ranch just north of waterton park, about 10 miles west of cardston, alberta....had 5 kids, 4 docs and 1 insurance agent....been all over the world, but have lived in northern utah the last 30 years.....life now is elk hunting, lake powell, sleds and keeping out of my wifes' territory..:face-icon-small-hap

Mother's ancestory is dutch. Father's is mostly native american. Born in Cut Bank, MT, spent pretty much 25 of my 30 years calling it home. In my early 20's I decided to find my fortune behind the wheel of a semi, this afforded me the privilage to live in exotic locales such as Otis, Colorado (a real snowmobilers paradise, let me tell ya), Kalispell, Montana (my personal favorite), and Lewistown, Idaho-Clarkston, Washington (same difference). I am now living with my wife, acouple of dogs and cats in Chester, Montana.

The details of my life are quite inconsequential.... Very well, where do I begin? My father was a relentlessly self-improving boulangerie owner from Belgium with low grade narcolepsy and a penchant for buggery. My mother was a 15-year-old French prostitute named Chloe with webbed feet. My father would womanize; he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes, he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament... My childhood was typical: summers in Rangoon... luge lessons... In the spring, we'd make meat helmets... When I was insolent I was placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds — pretty standard, really. At the age of 12, I received my first scribe. At the age of 14, a Zoroastrian named Wilma ritualistically shaved my testicles — there really is nothing like a shorn scrotum — it's quite breathtaking... I suggest you try it.

mac770 is really Dr. Evil?!?!?

Dad born in Italy, mom born in Germany....both their families moved to the Kootenays for work. as there was none to be had where they came from.

I was born in interior BC. Lived in Toronto for a few years going to school...big city life had some perks, but a kid from the mountains can only hang out in the flatlands so long without going crazy....so I packed up my shiat and gave up some bigger money jobs to live back where I came from :D

born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska... parents moved here for work and because, they always wanted to visit Alaska from central Wisconsin in the early 80s.. my dads grandfather came to America from Russia (St. Petersburgh) way back in the day.. and my moms side is German.. :)

there you have it..

What the hell is with all the Norwegians around here? Are we ****ing bred to snowmobile or something? :D

Born, raised, and live in Washington State. I will more than likely live and die within a 30 mile radius from where I was born. I see no reason to leave for more than a few weeks at a time for snowmobiling or sunruns to hot areas.

Hey be nice to the Germans! I have shot their weapons and drove their cars and have much respect for them as they are our commrades in arms. BTW I never met anyone from Washington that I liked yet lol. Rev

Montana Native and proud of it!!!

Born in '73 & Raised in Bozeman, moved to Kalispell in '95 after my dad passed away to go to school. Other than a few months in Missoula finding out I wasn't U of M material, I ended up back in Kalispell in 2000 and got married, here ever since.

Dad's side of family German, some came West from Missouri after the Civil War, a bunch stayed in Missouri. Can trace Dad's roots back to German imigrants that came to America in late 1700's.

Mom's side is German and Volga German (German immigrants who settled along the Volga River in Russia prior to the Bolshevik Revolution of 1917). Both my Grandma & Grandpa and their respective families settled in Eastern Montana near Forsyth, shortly after the Revolution of 1917.
