Where are you from ?

born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska.. parents are from midwest (South Dakota/Minnesota/Wisconsin then moved to AK) great grandfather came over to Wisconsin from St. Petersburgh, Russia in '40.

Born here in W. Washington, grew up in Issaquah, live in Renton. Have a bunch of various eastern euro countries (last name descends from Prussia) and part native american from my dads mother's side. Native comes from the Colville area.

Born and raised in and around Missoula, MT. Family has been within 30 miles of here since the 1860s. I live within about 8 miles of that homestead.
When I was born I had 10 grandparents living within 1 hour of me. Had all 4 of my grandparents and was only missing 2 great grandparents (the 2 great-grandfathers died within 5 years before my birth) . Pretty crazy. Not many can say that.

Mom's side is mostly from Norway and some England. Her grandfather built the Fort Peck Dam. Other grandfather was a sheriff and had Jesse James in custody in his North Platte, Neb jailhouse.

Dad's side is moslty from Switzerland and also England. His grandfather was a Montana vigilante who hung Henry Plummer. He was also friends with Charlie Russell. Took him elk hunting near Missoula in the 1910s. Dad's great-grandmother was documented as the first all-white child born in Montana Territory.
My kids are 6th generation native born Montanans. Not many can say that.

Born and raised in Casper, WY. Lived in Casper, Laramie, and Cheyenne WY ... Then moved to Texas for a few years, then Brighton CO for less than a year, then I've been here in Vernal, UT for a little over 2 years now.

Born in Wheatridge before it was part of Denver, moved up to this little burg named Kremmling when I was one. Left for a few years for schooling, got married and now I'm back. I was one of those kids who swore that I'd never come back.

My family on my Mother's side hails from Canada (the French part) and my Father's side hails from Germany.

well apparently my great great great Grand Dad invented the cow catcher on trains ....

Monty Montana trick roper was my great Uncle

Born and raised around Edmonton, Alberta. My great grandparents (mom's side) came from Slovenia in the early 1900s and arrived on the east coast. Traveled throughout the States making a living where they could and settled in Butte, MT working in the mines. They eventually left Montana and started farming about an hour NW of Edmonton. My grandmother still lives on the original homestead/farm:cool::beer;

My pop's grandparents immigrated from the Ukraine around the turn of the century, farming and eventually running a small local hotel.

I'm descended from 100% European bloodlines but I consider myself Canadian first and foremost:)

Grandparents and parents are from central Michigan, I was forced to move to Alaska in 1983, I was 13 years old, the worst/best day of my life. I hated my parents that day and now feel it was the best thing that ever happened to me. I moved back to my home town when I was 19, it lasted 6 months and I moved back to Alaska, Never to make that mistake again.

he was an actor, cowboy and trick roper
