I live in Whitehorse, Yukon ...born in Regina and moved to the Yukon when I was 1 ...........family is a bunch of farmers that moved over to Saskatchewan from Montana/North Dakota ....before that my Dads side came from Ireland eating Potatoes and on my Moms side we sailed in from Norway a few times in the past ..thus making me Viking/Irish

The men were stone masons. I left that country when the state and the construction unions started doing too much of my thinking for me.

Born and raised in Whitehorse in 1961. Moved to the Peace Country in 1972 and lived in this area since.

Mom's side: her dad was Tahltan Indian from Telegraph Creek, BC and her mom was Scottish, Irish, and English ranchers/farmers/trappers that hauled there belongings into the Peace Country from North Dakota at the turn of the last century.

Dad's side: both his parents were Ukranians that farmed east of Edmonton near Andrew and Smoky Lake country (don't know alot about this side of family as the old man took off when I was 6 and never stayed in touch).

Born in Jackson WY, Have moved probably 15 times. Mostly in the Montana Idaho area. Live in Coeur D'alene now.

My family is Irish/German.

My ancesters come from Scotland, fought alongside William Wallace as they were a sect of the Douglas Clan. A lot of interesting history there, I found a book on it recently with paintings of our coat of arms and such.

Came to America in 1650 and settled in Virgina and fought in the American revolution more than 100 years later. Then after that they fought in the French/Indian wars and the war of 1812. There is another book published in 1800's that talks about it...Scottish Irish in America circa 1880 something. Has some of my ancestors mention by name and talks about some battles they led.

Some of the women a part of the Daughters of the Revolution and wrote letters to Washington for information, which are still saved.
