Great band from years gone by. Didn't realize the drummer sang that song, that takes alot of talent. Fairly big brass section too, reminds me Huey Lewis and the "tower of power". Good post.

Joe Walsh is 62!

Joe Walsh, Amateur Radio (Ham) callsign WB6ACU.

Being a "ham", ahemm, myself, I have heard him on the air, but not actually talked to him. It was too funny listening, about 70's rock band escapades, trashing hotel rooms, etc. The fellow standing behind him in the attached pic is Bob Heil, K9EID, presedent of Heil Sound. Bob started out as the sound man for a garage band just getting started, named the Grateful Dead.

Remember their song "Life is Good" ? A lot of truth there. Some lines "my Maserati goes 185... I got arrested, now I don't drive." .." I stay in hotels....tear out the walls...I got accountants that pay for it all.." Etc....LOL.

Saw the Eagles in Rapid City a couple of years ago, they haven't lost a step, absolutely the greatest American band ever, 2 1/2 hrs of solid entertainment.
