Whats your guy's opinion on trail tanks?

I am getting a new Nytro XTX and was thinking of a trail tank. I not sure of the fit and finish though. Does anyone have any before and after pictures? Is there a tunnel rack I could buy for say and 2 gallon gas can? I know the XTX does not have the tunnel length of the MTX and in the Yammy catalog there tunnel rack looks weak, (mabey hold a pair of gloves and a camera).

I have one of the first tanks which doesn't fit quite right. The price was good so I bought it and it's worked fine. I will be getting one of new ones though as the F&F is suppose to be better.

The first batch of tanks weren't molded for the MTX cooler lines which is why the fit was off. The newer tanks I've heard are alot better looking.

I have one that is about 3 months old. I love it. Fit and finish are fine. Install went fine, and instructions were spot on.

Trail Tank is a first class company to deal with. If you have a questions, Seth the owner will call or email you right back. I can not say enough about his customer service. You will not be disappointed.

I was gonna buy one until I saw what it looked like on a sled. I haven't seen them that fit right yet

The fit sucked on the old ones not sure why they even sent them out knowing the fit was that bad??

i have one of the older ones, the fit isnt THAT bad, fit it to your sled yourself, take some time, trim and shim things if you have to. having 10 gallons v.s 7 is the biggest reason to get one. more time to ride and put smiles on your face. i bought the clear one so, i could visually see how much fuel i had left and i absolutely love it. we will be buying one for the wifes sled this summer. ski

Any one have one on a MCX turboed Nytro? I noticed there were oil lines running along the sides that would need to be covered.

The latest Nytro tanks fit nicely-early ones were a bit of a struggle on the sleds we dealt with but nothing that couldn't be overcome.Great product from great people!

MCX Trail Tank

Your oil lines should be under the tank not on the side. I had one on a mcx kit.

The new tanks fit really good and look good!!! I hate the thumb screws!!! especially when its -20 out!!!
I would definitely do it again, with the trail tank I would run out the same time as my buddies riding stock two strokes.
