Whats the last riding spot of the season?

Whisler, BC

Brandiwine Bowl

May 18th ride still lots of snow 15' or so in the bowl and more above but the drive up to the snowline was some serious off road driving. Cheers!

Yep, just got back from riding Brandywine and the glacier fields north of it. Lots of snow but we had to drive up the forest service road until about 4000 feet in elevation before we hit some consistent snow.

Apparently if you know the right spots and how to access them, you can ride into July/August. However, I'm not sure that it would be all that great as you'd probably be dodging open water, difficult-to-pass rocks, sun-pocked snow, etc.

Regardless, it was a blast this weekend up there. The snow was such that you could really get good w/ techniques, climb long, super steep hills, nearly have to force yourself to get stuck and with the exception of some minor sluffing, the snow was pretty stable.

ROKRIG speaks the truth! It was good riding this weekend up in Brandywine we had a blast up there. Snow was great for anything you wanted to do. That area is at the top of my riding list.
