What's the etiquette on warm up just to move sleds?

Similar to what a lot of guys have said. I leave them be until after I get dressed most of the way. Then open both doors. Start them up and let them run for 15-20 seconds then ease them out of the trailer. I can hold my breath for a long time. lol. Yell at the boys to hurry up. I leave them running while outside and lock up the truck and trailer, put on helmet, gloves and goggles then run them down the first few hundred yards at part throttle. Then hammer them. My buddy just pounds his stuff right from the go. I am surprised he doesn't ride them off the sled deck over the roof and hood of his truck.

i let mine reach 100 before driving it out the trailer then just let it idle till its about 120 outside shut it off and finish getting ready, but i am pretty much dressed before i leave to go so i am not getting dressed in the cold

Start the furnace, slide the sleds out, start sleds, get dressed in a warm smoke free trailer.

I leave the sled in the trailer, bathe in the smoke until I start to get dizzy, then I know the sled and me are good to go.

Edit: on topic, I'd start it, run if for like 20 seconds and then take it out to warm up the rest of the way.

My sled sits covered outside for the winters months. I do the old sticky throttle check, fire it up, and let it idle till it gets to 100 while i get suited up by the wood stove. I will then shut it down fill it with gas and oil fire it back up and run it on the track stand for a few minutes to warm the belt, track and other moving parts and it's over the hill like a billy goat will. I run klotz oil and have had no problems with 2000 miles on the stock 800 motor, I have run it wide open with very little to no break in time and it runs strong with 120 psi in both cylinders.
