So I 've had a few people ask me about riding down in Australia.
Here's the low down it. Most of our snow is in national parks where there's no rec motor vehicles allowed. There is a very small area that is is state forest that you can ride but it pretty much suxs there as its normally too low for any real amount of snow to have any fun on.
How a small few of us (15) are allowed to ride in the "good areas" is we are part of the search & rescue team and we can ride out for training purposes.
Now most of the good stuff is in ski resorts and just out side it so we have to be real careful how we ride as the "chookfooters" complain all the time if they see us out there and not in single file. Boondocking and jumping around is a big no no "IF" we are seen
You guys have it real easy in the states that for sure.
niko.
