for those of you have installed the extra mag or pto side mount on the bottom of the engine whats the size of the bolts needed for the two holes in the crankcase? metric? thanks.

I used 25mm long bolts for the mount I made, but you could always order them a hair long and cut them to length. Hard to say what you need without knowing what your bolting to the bottom of your engine, but I cant imagine bolting anything thicker than 1/2". A ~35mm long bolt should be plenty long and still have a short enough shoulder on it that it won't interfere with anything if you have to cut the length down.

:)

I bought 4 of each and couldn't remember exactly which ones I used.

Ha! I do that same thing all the time. I like to have oddball stuff around just incase I need it on a sunday afternoon or something. My wife hates it when I go to the hardware store because I always come out with a half dozen things I either didnt know I needed before I went in, or I bought "spares", "just incase". lol

yeah i did that... got 2 m12x1.25mm x 1" and 1.25" long... just in case. my 2" angled aluminum is 1/4" thick. should be thick enough. thanks again.

Cool. What are you planning for a mount?

Are you prepared for the massive increase in vibration? I added a 6th mount and put some solid mounts in during my last rebuild, WOW. :jaw:

no solid mounts. just using stock cat mount. so rubber will be soft. should help to hold engine better though. mag side. others have had good success so im going to give it a try. cant hurt... one mag side and two on the clutch side on my sled are cracking/starting to tear already with only 700 miles.
