I subscribe to the "buy it as you need it" philosophy. I have to work tomorrow anyway. Crazies don't take vacations so neither can the herders.

I will be spending black friday in my treestand. Im contempt with paying a few bucks more rather then having to deal with all the crazies out there.

I just picked up some free chairs, stuffs and a few tents outside of the store this morning.. priceless.

I picked up my DC-40 vacuum and holy crap does it SUCK! (the good way) Carpet looks as good as it did 5 months ago when I bought the place!

Side note: Costco was not really a whole lot busier than a normal week day... the average Sunday is more of a zoo, but I did get there about 9:30

Just had a buffalo burger and six beers at a local sports bar. Made my contribution to the local economy.

Ordered a set of Amp power steps for my truck. I like that they tuck up and away when not in use and actually provide a great step for getting in and out without sliding off the sides of my seats.

Myself and Halvy25 decided to make it out for shopping on black Friday. We got up at 3:45 am and made our way to the only place that we cared to get up early to shop, Cabelas. Got a 5 dollar certificate for standing in line for an hour before the sun comes up. Others were there at 8:30 the night before. We decided that was a good place to see what rhe big deal was about. Very doubtful we ever do that again.


The funny thing was the guy that won the 800 dollar rifle wasn't even going to open his certificate. He was just picking up some 22 shells.
