Whats new for 2014?

Terry this is your rt 1000, sure doesn't look like a pos to me! Hopefully Ski Doo doesn't take any pointers from you, or else the 14's will end up being a 15 wide 120 horse trail groomer like your Pro, none of the new or old sleds came with a trunk monkey to do all your tuning for you so maybe in the future try not to give advise before you have graduated from tuning school.http://youtu.be/NteT9vuR1fI

Don't have a clue who you are and don't care. I heard it had a pinched fuel line or something. Mine never ran. Hated the sled and wasn't going to throw a bunch of money at it when I hated it. If they were so popular then why was Flannigan cussing me when he took it on trade. Good for you if you got it running. Looks like you had to spend $10 grand to make it run up a little hill in setup snow. good for you. Never got beat with my little doo 800, with slp kit, by any doo 1000, and yes I have run against quite a few. That is great that yours runs and your such an expert but think how much less cash you would have to throw at it if you started with a real sled like an xm or pro and not a turd. Just as well have a t-4 stroke and make some real power since they were only 8 pounds lighter than an apex stock.

Just got done reading my kid a book and it rhymed like your post, what isn't good for you is that my 05 still has not lost any race up a hill or across the flat's so if your little doo still runs, I will be at turbo day's in cooke this weekend. 100 buck's say's you can't touch my 05.

Sorry, don't have it and it didn't have a turbo. I was comparing stock but actually my 800 wasn't stock. It had a 163 horse slp kit. I am actually turboless, for real, at the moment. I could bring my stocker and run against you if that would make you feel like you have something. If you want to play in the trees then I'm all in. You come to big timber and climb this chute I climbed up with my turbo yamaha and then I will say you have something. This story is over.

Your kidding right? I cracked 3 of them before he started going downhill and stopped selling them. Light weight good looking over priced cat clutch. That cracked! My buddied and I all bought into it.. 10 in all. They all cracked

You are right....mine cracked as well !! But I did get two awesome seasons out of it b4 I replaced one half. It was on my 04 rev and it is still kicking around with that clutch !!!

But you have to admit, it was easy to tune and worked very well.

What changes would guys like to see made to the XM Summit ? Realistic changes.
My wish list....
I want to say weight loss, but not at the sacrifice of strength and I know that just isnt realistic without pricing it out of the market.
Better shocks....but again that price thing. Maybe a float-2 option but the high end shocks would add big $$.
A low windshield.
A rear bumper that is elevated in the center like they had in the late 90's so you can grab it without as much digging and kicking....and its stronger.
Underhood goggle holder behind exhaust where it will be functional.
New clutches....removable/alignable secondary.
Silencer that is half the weight and still quiet....Polaris figured it out.

If better shocks are spendy, please tell me why Cat and Poo manage to have better shocks than the KYB pieces of crap that BRP uses, but yet sell their sleds for the same price? I love everything about Ski Doo except their choice of shock. I always buy Fox Floats and sell the stock crap.
How bout the internet tough guys PM each other trash talk because we don't care. Lets get back to the topic.

As for you other two, Stop! That little p3nis size competition is getting old. :mad2: LMAO!

If the shocks on the Doo are crap why does it handle the bumps WAY better than the Pro. Poo has nice LOOKING shocks that don't work very well at all. In 2 feet of pow who cares but on a 20 mile whooped out trail to the goods it's important. BTW, I ride a 13 Pro most of the time.

Sorry, but I didn't know these "mountain" sleds were supposed to be built to run down the trail comfortably for 20 miles...I must have missed something when I was purchasing a "mountain" sled.:face-icon-small-coo:face-icon-small-coo

Because Doo puts the $$ into the engine and fit/finish?. :face-icon-small-win

Air intake for a turbo, are more clearance for larger muffler of a four stroke are a bigger ETEC.
