Whats a loud can for a 2011 pro RMK 800

Bikeman Powder Lite. I have one, it came on my sled. Rode with it last weekend and it is too loud for me. Putting the stocker back on and going to try to sell or trade the Bikeman for a quieter can.

Hi there, I am looking to see if anyone knows what can is loud and sounds good for the 2011 pro RMK 800.

any help is appreciated thanks Josh

Dude! I just put a Carbon Sled Parts/Straightline Performance can on mine and it sounds great, is lighter than stock and is loud. Actually too loud for me and the area I ride so I'm considering getting rid of it. My three riding buddies all said it sounded great and was loud too. Its got 200 miles on it. Maybe if I was 20 again I'd hang onto it because it is loud. Not so much interest in loud at 46...

I would suggest a GGB Mountain can and not only get the "loud" your after but get quality as well. I'm really impressed with the one I put on my sled, but it might be just a tad loud for me so I'm going to try the Trail can next time around. The Mountain can has nice tone to it and when the EV's open up it really barks.

Check them out.

GGB mountain can is a great can, louder then stock, but not to loud, sounds great, great quality and good price also. i run one on my pro, and i know MANY people on here do also.

if your interested hit me up.

I have tried slp can, slp can and pipe, bmp cans and jaws. If you want loud sound, go for jaws.. I think my turbo sled with tunnel dump isn`t that loud as it was with the jaws can lol.. Here is a clip of my sled with jaws can, the sled was just 4 days old at that time, so i did not go so hard on the throttle https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Nn9Xs5-naQ And the camera dont justify the sound, in the video it may sound strange but in rl it wasn`t so bad. Btw, the Skinz ultra q can my brother had was nice.

I got a skinz can for sale in swap meet. Good blend of loud and deep. Fwiw, imho the bmp cans sound like sh!t. Waay too loud and its a tinny note. Makes a strong running poo 800 sound like an arctic cat running on one cylinder

Not sure I understand the question. Do you want a can that is loud or one that sounds good?

There are plenty of "cans" out there that sound nice. I can tell you that your buddies will give you "ONE" ski pull, then you will blow their eardrums out then you will receive NO help after that. I can tell you that the Bikeman products had a decent fit and finish but the Powder Lite was WAY too loud and I know longer had any friends after that.

Currently, I have a Skinz Super-Q and love it, fit and finish is top notch. It will pass the sound meter test (done at Lower RPMS) but has a great sound at WOT (wouldn't pass at this point if done at high RPMS).

HPS Cans sound great as well.

Secondly, I know that folks on here, clubs, organizations, etc that are fighting for your riding areas outwest will not appreciate some folks using certain cans. It is one of the major complaints of the granola munchers. I personally, do it for the weight, space, and heat (QD drive) since it may only add 1 lone/single/uno HP or it actually may cause you to lose HP from stock. I probably don't do enough to support the groups fighting for our riding areas, but I WILL NEVER ADD TO THEIR PROBLEMS....... like riding in wilderness areas, obnoxious cans, etc........ my .02c.

MH, Can we make a sticky as said above with all the "Can" posts there...... this comes up often and folks have issues with the search function.

Agree on that bmp sound, it was horrible. But to me it sounded more like a nitro r/c car ish. It was just awful, one trip on mine and i sold it right away very cheap..

You want loud??--- buy a monster truck. Loud cans close riding areas.

You want a good "tone" at idle?..... WTF for? So you look good in the parking lot, posing with your sled while its idling?

OP, I'm sorry, but you have hit a nerve. Before you go telling me you live in 'Murica where you can buy a loud can if you want to...... Look at the riding areas we had when you were FIVE years old versus now.

You want a loud exhaust note?....learn to sidehill left with rpm @8250-- the exhaust will be plenty loud.

Rant over-- let the flaming begin....
