What year did the Gripper skis come out?

Hello guy, I am wanting to put a set of your Gripper skis on my Rev chassis, I have read and heard how great these skis are especially how lots of the Rev guys are likeing them on our chassis along with other style chassis, I haven`t heard anything bad about them so far so I am interested in putting them on my Rev

So what year did they start making the Gripper Skis? and did they start on the IQ chassis or just the Pro?

What models would you find them on mostly, I have been searching ebay and see alot of newer skis but some are not listed as grippers, I do recognize the upper boot traction nubs on the top of the skis that are cool and thats about all I have to go by on the visual identification.

Any info or help would be appreciated,

If any of ya have a descent set for sale for a good price, I would be interested, lookin for Black or Blue, would possibly consider White, and loops of these color combo`s also if possible

If any of ya are not happy with the set you have, I do have a good shape set of All Black Simmons Gen 1 skis I would be interested in trading for a set of gripper. these skis are on my wifes S chassis and would be willing to trade since she doesn`t ride much, I have Pilots on my Rev now. please let me know.

I believe they came out with the IQ chassis, they have undergone very subtle changes over the years. The new loop is a fair bit lighter being the most notable. A quick search for grippers will get you a bunch for sale. There was a post bumped to the top just hours ago. From memory $170.00 for the set w/o carbides. New take offs. They came out in 2007 on the RMK's.
