What would you get from the title of this ad?

Just reread the post seems about 3 people out of these thought the ad was reasonable..Seems they all posted twice including picture is worth 1000 words above me. I just hope people think twice before dealing with JHPowersports on evil bay.

Bought some SLP bar end hooks. I bought based on the fact that in the title as well as in the ad it said HOOKS as in 2 plural. When he listed the contents I assumed it included the bar and hook as it says. Apparently the seller didnt realize this and states its only one hook. Paypal found in my favor unfortunately I had installed the single hook assuming like his ad said that it was backordered and the other would be sent. So I obviously cannot return it in orignal condition. This guy now mails me unendingly annoying little jabs since I said I would see what you all thought.

Please also note that I offered to split the cost of a second one and was given a rude comment stating that he cant be giving these things away. I also then agreed to buy another at full price if he would be polite and admit the ad stated HOOKS and adding an "s" in the english language means plural or 2. To which I got another story about how people try to lowball and rip him off all the time.

So heres the Ad what do you all think. I was thinking I was getting a good deal for 2 hooks, what I got was a pain im my arse that reminded me why ebay can at times really suck.

I recognize the picture is of one but I thought it was an example and since it stated HOOKS two times as well as handelbars and not bar end singular I just made the mistake of assuming he knew what the hell he was selling.

Flame if you like and if I am wrong I am man enough to admit it, but I hope I am not the only one who sees the work HOOKS as more than one.

The title and description says HOOKS because he was selling 5 of them- look at the quantity near the top. Yes, HOOKS is plural, but that doesn't necessarily mean a quantity of 2 either- you just incorrectly assumed that you would be getting 2 and purchased it without asking first. When you hit the buy it now button, it takes you to another page that will ask you to enter a quantity between 1 and 5, and you just assumed a quantity of 1 actually meant 2. The description says INCLUDES HOOK AND CUSHION GRIP, not HOOKS and GRIPS, and only 1 of each was pictured and nowhere does it say a pair or 2. If you look them up on SLP's website, it says HOOKS for $23.95 per each, yet you assumed you would get 2 on eBay for less than the price of 1 from SLP or elsewhere. This is an eBay store selling new merchandise wih only buy it now prices, not some random guy blowing out his used junque on an auction, so I wouldn't expect to find any 2-for-1 deals there and if he had any deals like that, I'm sure he'd brag them up in the listings. None of this makes me assume I'd be getting 2 hooks and two grips if I purchased a quantity of one. You're all upset because you made an incorrect assumption based on to 2 little letter S's in the descripition. You purchased, received, and installed 1 single hook and 1 grip and just assumed the other was on backorder, even though the auction states you'd be notified immediately and given a full refund if something was out of stock (no backorders)? Give me a break. I say quicherbiachin, move on, and quit expecting something for nothing.

Leaving him negative feedback because of your incorrect assumptions was a total d!ck move too. eBay sellers beware of daiawafan25 on because he'll put the squeeze on you if he make a bad assumption based on your description...
