what updates?

question for u learned people regarding a 07-08 M1000....when someone says 'has all the 09 updates', what r they talking about, what is supposed to be included in all the 'updates'? Or can it mean a host of different things?

Good day. My updated 08 M1000 also included a rectangular hole and screen on intake (underside of hood) and removal of some exhaust pipe insulation and part of the heat shield. I was not impressed with the updates and would go back if i could. Did not hurt performance at WOT but seemed to idle high and load up at times.
