What to do around Boise?

I am down here a couple of months for work. What is fun to do around these parts? I have been downtown and am pretty impressed. So far it is easily the best place I have had to go. Just curious.

do you have a dirtbike? tons of places to ride around here. if not try stream fishin for trout on any of the forks of the boise river. bass fishing on the snake river, or cj strike res. golf? float the boise river in town to check out chicks. mtn bike on hulls gulch. drinkin in hyde park. tons of **** to do around here.

Yup just what he said. I grew up over in homedale about an hour south, but moved to Alpine Wy a few years ago. Find a friend with a boat and hit up Lucky peak, Lake lowell, or lake Owyhee. Run up to McCall for awesome fishing. There are hundreds of miles of trails over in owyhee county its only about an hours drive south and west of the Boise area. Run over to Cowgirls over in Kuna for a great bar with a huge dance floor and tons of great looking girls. The list goes on, its a great place to live if you like to party for sure. I will be back there in two weeks to visit family and friends but mostly to party lol

What line of work are you in?

I am a superintendent for a construction company. We are building an investment center in Boise. I have been in a lot of towns over the last ten years and so far Boise is right up there with some of the best I have been in. Doesn't seem like there are as many people here as they say. So far so good.

Bosie is a fun place, If you like Rodeo there is some good ones there close. Caldwell night rodeo, is one of the best. For sure McCall is a must. If you like to float Riggins ID. on the salmon river is a great time. I know how it is traveling around the country for work allways looking for something todo, to pass the time. Im in Cali. west of Fresno and there is jack to do hear. Would much rather be in bosie working, or even at home fishing with my son.

Jet boat trip

Take a jet boat ride below Hells Canyon Dam, on the Snake River. Or a jet boat ride up the Salmon River from Vinegar Creek Rapids (upriver from Riggins, ID) to Corn Creek boat launch and return.

I would second the Jet boat trip, thats a blast and a lot less work.
