What to buy???

I have a baby due here any day so I figured this season was about done, so I advertised my sled and it sold. Great! It was an 05 800 Summit. Would you buy an...

1. 08 XP now
2. Wait and snow check an 09

3. (least likely, but worth considering) Look for a low miled 06

:confused::confused:

Im confused???

It appears that you just sold your sled b/c you wouldnt have time to ride it so you should wait and snow check so you can get more upgrades and less problems; however it seems you want to buy a sled soon which makes me question why you sold yours. It was a good sled. I would wait if you can get by without a sled for the rest of the year.

If your season is done then either snowcheck an 09 which will be more refined or wait till around Sept and buy a holdover 08 which will be around $1k cheaper than right now.

Here's an idea,

since you are having a baby and you sold yours, get your wife a new snow machine so she can enjoy the rest of this spectacular season while it lasts.

You know she might as well ride now so she can help after the birth.

Then start saving for a machine for the child, preferably a Snow Hawk, both are the future generation.

you are a real piece of work arent you? i dont think any one professinol can help you. you need an entire clinc, maybe even a trip to vienna. i was actully thinking about a snow hawk earlier this season. after reading the moronic statments that you post i think i would be ashamed to be seen on one.

Reason.

OK, I sold the sled because I want to upgrade to a longer track. I had a 144 want to go to 151 - 154. I sold it "now" because of my shortened season and figured it might sell better while there was still ridin going on, and it did. So yes I really don't expect to ride any more this year. I am a farmer and we will be in the fields by the 1st of April also. My real question was trying to decide if the 08's were sound enough to buy now that the new ones are about to be introduced (holdover rebates), or questionable enough to wait and see what they improved for next year. Thanks

You keep saying Snow-Hawks are the future. Future of what??? You know that the '09s are the future too?!?!?! 20 years from now, you'll still be saying snow-hawks are the future! of what? until, money starts growing on trees, snow-hawks will be at the bottom of the hill as far as popularity i bet.

Id wait and see what the 09s are like first.:)

you should be safe with a holdover, most doo dealers wont charge for updates, i dont know if you can get the 2 year engine warranty that way, and there is the upgrades that you get with the x to consider,i dont think you can find a 2008x at this time of year. if it were me i would snowcheck a 2009

i dont think snowhawk will ever be the wave of the future considering all the people that i know have one are selling them. my prediction is ad boivin will go bank rupt before they can actually make a real dealer. my self i have never ridden one as of now but they look like a real hoot in powder.

14-16 grand for a snowbike that won't make it into the places I can with my zx mod, why? Oh, and the 06' is a bulletproof sled and alot of them are popping up fairly cheap, might consider that a little more, unless your budget allows a 09', then why do anything else! Oh, and good luck with the little rider!!!!!

I ride a REV primarily and a YZ 450F in the off season and would welcome the chance to ride a hawk. I've heard they rip and thats what my rev and yz doo! I'd probably own a hawk before I modded my yz to ride in the snow. Just my .02

Once again, let me explain how this works.
The ignore option only works if you DON'T KEEP QUOTING HIM.
On another forum that I hang out on every now and then (Gun related) we have a little game we play with the dumb azzes on it.
We only reply one word to anything they ever post and it definately drives them away when they realize no-one will talk to them.
And the word is....
SNUB.

Oh, I would buy the hold over. I always do, and yes, you can get the 2 year on it too.
