What sled to buy?

12 M8
05-06 M7

The Pro or M8 would be left stock due to purchase price.

M7 would have RK Teks big bore installed, if I can find one with a stock motor.

What's everybody think?

i wouldn't even consider am M chassis, the technology of the newer chassis's is much better money spent. if you don't have money to mod a newer sled, buy the polaris pro, much better out of the box sled than the cat

"Wouldn't even consider a M series" , Man those are strong words. The M series chassis is a dang good chassis. The NEW cat is not so great (imo). Honestly after riding them all, and remember I own a M series and will ride it for at least 2 more years. Its not much of a contest. If you do anything besides drag race up hills all day long the pro is the choice. It is a GREAT mountain sled.

had my m series for 3 years... LOVED that sled!!! and yes, even after that, i wouldn't even consider it compared to the newer chassis's. so yeah... i'm not putting the m down, i loved my M and had a great 3000 miles on it... but even compared to the proclimb (which was NOT ready for production in my opinion), the m can't hang.

Boy your not kidding it was ready for production. Why did cat rush that soooo much. I mean I know why, 50th year in production had to have the sled out last year. But to what cost. I really hope it is a 100% better sled this year or cat could be in trouble!! I guess its a good thing I don't have the money to buy a new sled so I don't have to make that decision.

that is one of the most honest answers i have seen on here recently..nice..and i agree, if you dont have mod money..pretty tough to beat the pro..it works for a stock sled...
