What sled is faster? Summit XP800, Dragon 800, M8 or Phazer Mountain

I just know that once the old turbo winds up my "5 grand too expensive" 797 600 small block does not have a chance!!

For everyday boondocking it works great, long hill climbs I might run out of juice, or know I would against a Turbo 4 stroke.

My next favorite sleds besides my yammis are the Dragons. Owned one last year and all I hear are good things about the new 800 so I'm gonna have to say the 800 Dragon.

By the way I'm not saying that you shouldn't mod stuff as I would be a hell of a hypocrite saying that.

What I was saying is it's not a good comparison stock to turboed or big bored. I run NO2 simply because I can't justify a Big bore or turbo or something of that sorts for 2 weeks a year.

The idea of putting a phaser (stock)in the same catgory of the 800 2 strokes isn't a viable comparison. I was just saying that it's funny that every time someone comes up with a compaison topic somebody from the Yamaha Camp pulls out the Turbo statement. Yeah they're AWESOME!!! I get it but it's a somewhat select crowd that can afford to run them.

phazer all the way. my buddies phazer made a 2 hour hill climb last year. yes it took us 2 hours to pull it up the hill

I'm still LMFAO did i miss something or are we talking about a 800cc 2 smoke compared to a 500cc 4 smoke me personally i will ride the 4 stroke IMO. I can also have a turbo phazer for 5g's plus another 5g's for the turbo.. How much do the 800's cost??

For the average consumer/rider an 800 will run you somewhere in the 9k range.

I understand about comparing a boosted sled to a n/a sled.
That little phazer is 140 hp.....about the same as all the other 800's it was racing......and cost the same $$.

That was my point, IMO.. It all boils down to personal preference

I know that an 800 dragon 163 will not holeshot an XP 154 or summit reve 144 but I do know that it will pass them pretty easy once the track starts moving. I raced 2 XPs and 2 summit rev 144's on Sat and it will slowly walk past them in 1/4 mile. Those 144's can holeshot pretty nice.

I would still bet on the Phazer, depending on conditions, and YES, stock for stock...

yeah except i would rather buy somthing that i can move the only thing that the phazer is good for is 600 pound bound boat anchor

turbo phazer forsure, but i will admit i have to push it hard to smoke all them 800's. 15lbs usually to blow by them, not the best thing for a motor but i love it. any 800 cost $14G's- $15G's after everything is said and done new! i bought my phazer new with the turbo on it and it cost $15's.
(p.s. 15lbs on pump gas.)
