I do wish I had the financial clout to own all 4 brands. That would be fun.

not to brag, but i sno checked a ski doo for '13 and i have a '12 cat and '12pro rmk, never owned a yamaha...

i like them both, cant wait to ride the xm too...
IMO, currently owning both cat and pro rmk
cat has the power hands down, the cat has some chassis issues that im sure will be resolved over the next few seasons, i think the platform is really good, but lets be realistic, it needs a diet, take 35lbs or more off it and it changes the sleds abilities just like any other sled...
pro rmk is simpler to ride boon docking, the cats not far behind though...
both really good sleds. hope the ski doo is a happy medium between the cat and pro rmk if it is it will be the ticket,,,IMO...

I'd still like to get a new Cat for next year, I just can't bring myself to go back to Polaris since it seems they STILL don't have those motors right.

IDK, I think I'm gonna wait till next March then decide if I want a new sled or a new diesel more .... the TM8 will be getting sort of long in the tooth by the end of this season, might be ready for something fresh :)

been die hard cat with 3 different M's from a 06 m7 - 09 m8 - 10 m8 and absolutely loved them but the debacle of proclimb problems scared the $hit outta me even tho wen i rode one it did feel awesome,,,,,checked a 13 pro anyway,,,really pumped but also really hope i dont regret it.
only thing i didnt like about the 12 pro i rode was the stiff throttle pull after bein spoiled by cats smooth pull,,,but im sure thatll be long forgotten after the first ride or two

I'll be sticking with my 05 900 RMK and 09 700 RMK... I just hate having to make that decision every weekend of which one I want to ride, they are both a blast to ride in their own ways:D

And being that they are both paid for is a big factor too:face-icon-small-win:face-icon-small-sho

Disagree. Really worth it to have it blow and be out 2-4 weeks of prime riding? I know at least 4 guys who had that happen on the 2011 and 2012.

Following your posts last year your sled has been down more than my Pro. My Pro has only gone down once for a chaincase issue. Don't get me wrong, I don't wish down time on anyone.

new holdover 12 summit etec for me, from cat to poo now doo. cant wait to check out those 163.9 ponies:) just hopin' the body will hold up!!!

Oldie but a goodie

Buying a 2007 M8 162. Turbo Al can, vert adjustable steering, o9 seat. Rode it several times last year and fell in love with it. Secretly happy my doo blew up! TEAM ORANGE for 2012/13.

Will be back on my 09 Turbo Nytro this year. 180 MCX turbo, Timbersled rear suspension, Skinz Concept front suspension, WRP boards, Camoplast track, OFT relocator, rollover valve, anti-stab kit and whatever else I can't remember right now. (Mind seems to be slipping, need snow)
Next year may be the year for a new ride as I have friends getting new XMs and son is getting a new Pro this winter so I will get some seat time on something different.:face-icon-small-hap

Gonna ride my 2012 ProRMK another year at least. Didn't hit 1000 miles yet which is very unusual.
