I havent had a sled for almost 3 years and I just finally brought home a new 2012 Pro 800 155. The last sled I owned was a 2005 700 RMK 151. I am looking to leave the new sled mostly stock, but its just too quiet! I am looking for some good advice on a Can. I ran an MBRP race can on my 05 and that was nice but I dont see that on their web site. I am hoping to find a can that is louder and has better tone than stock, without compromising power, or RPMs. WHat do you guys think? I know there has been a couple threads about similar situations but i havent gotten a lot from them.

Thanks!

I put a Super-Q on mine. Haven't had a chance to take it out to hear wide open, but it sounds good at idle.:face-icon-small-hap

I think the MBRP is quieter then the Super-Q if I remember right.

I have a precision can on mine. Sounds awesome & as light as anything out there. The best bang for you buck can you can get as far as I'm concerned. I have 5 rides on mine now & no RPM loss & I also checked their dyno #s to make sure no power loss. Definitely a great product.

Is Precision local to Idaho Falls? I have never heard of them.

I have been looking and I have been thinking about these...

Super-Q
MBRP
BMP
HPS

What are the thoughts on these

Do any of the "cans" require fuel changes or different tuning?

Where is a good place to buy an MBRP? I have been doing some looking and Im not sure where to get it for a decent price.

Thanks

Yes precision is a small company in Idaho Falls. They do a lot with SLP so sometimes they're cans are confused for SLP cans but they are a great product and a company that's been building cans for a long time.

Here's a short vid to let you hear what the can sounds like. I rode with an mbrp last week and it also sounds good. Little deeper and quieter sound.

I have about 200 miles on my 2012 Pro, all of them with the J&T can. It is light as a feather, excellent workmanship and LOUD. At first my buddy and I thought they were too loud maybe, but now we are used to them and they rock.

I have to admit though, if you are carving a left-hand turn (and therefore the exhaust is up in the air) it is loud for anyone that happens to be standing nearby.

I got mine at Rexburg Motor Sports. Last time I was there, they had a few in stock.

peterrmk.
Stock can is the only one you can use in WI. They frown on LOUD! Had a stock '98 Polaris and got a ticket from one of your quiet cops.

WI is a bad deal but i really dont ride here on the trails too much. Im not too worried about being too loud.

thanks though

Jamey-boy, I have never heard of precision so I checked out there website from the link you provided and when I found their cans or mufflers they do not list one for a 11-12 Polaris so do you have a Pro and testing one and if so I would be tickled pink to finally find a can that actually made the same amount as a stock can or even added more power yet?

precision is owned by josh cuttler makes great cans i have one on my 07-700 dragon,08-800 dragon and one on my 2012 pro my nephew has one on his 2011 pro too we just love them and josh is a great guy to deal with,if you need his # pm me he has what u need.

They do not list them on their website because they have a limited stock but they do build them for the PRO. Just give them a call. As mentioned above talk to Josh & he will let you know what they have found on the dyno.
