What shot do you like better?

Help us make a better movie. Tell us what shot you like better.

The 1st shot drops the natural fall line of the slope, the second shot is a third attempt (as attempt #2 ended with a face full of snow on the first drop) that lands a bit off axis and bounces the sled into fall line to shorten the distance between drops and come closer to the camera on the second drop. We like both shots for different reasons, so please help us decide which one to use. Thx!!!

#2 for me also. I like the way it comes right at you at first. Tho i do feel the upper landing on shot #1 was a bit smoother... I still have to pick #2, it has a killer angle!!

Shot #1 Smooth clean ride and no previous bomb holes messing up the pristine powder.

This is kind of turning into a Coke/Pepsi taste test, please explain why you prefer one shot over the other. Thanks!

I have to go with the 2nd one. the launch coming right at you is definitely a more dramatic angle

then the slight course correction highlights a skill level that few are able to acheive but is necessary to flow with the natrual terrain in the backcountry

#2
The initial head-on angle transitioning to the broadside is more dramatic. Plus, from this angle the rider is more visible/spends less time obscured by trees/terrain.

Personally, we like #1, because it gives the shot depth. You get to see the distances of the terrain and drop a bit more. From what I can tell, it is two sets of drops right? So the time it takes in the two shots from drop to drop could be relevant of the exact line taken, even though they both look similar.

Basically I think any time you can give the viewer a better perspective of how huge things are the better the shot turns out. With that said, mixing in the straight on shots and shots that don't get used all the time sure adds some good content once in a while.
