what ratio to use in my premix?

I just had my motor out of my sled to replace the motor mounts.... Dealer said to premix my first tank full to make sure all the air is out of the oil lines......whats a good ratio to use for the oil i add to the fuel tank? i still will have oil in the bottle too.. thanks...

Some may disagree with me, but I just put a full quart into a full tank of gas after doing my work... I didn't tear into the motor, but I did pull it and wanted to safeguard against the same possibility. A full quart in 11 gallons puts you at about 44:1 in the tank in addition to the oil injection... and the sled ran perfectly fine for my 25 mile ride the other day.

I did mix the quart with about 2 gallons in a seperate can (and thoroughly shook it up) before pouring it in to help prevent the oil from settling in the bottom of the tank.

run a fresh rebuild about 50:1 in the tank, and make sure you attach something to the oil pump lever and route it to the clutch side so you can pull the oil pump WIDE OPEN on initial startup and bleen the pump, and oil lines from pump to crank ends...or you will lose that new motor almost instantly...

and after you break in your motor with the initial breakin 50:1 tank..ALLLLWAAYYSS run 11oz of oil in your gas (FOR LIFE)...as per indydan, the engine oil pump injection does not provide enough oil to the crank...

110z in every tank full?

11oz but I put more than that in every tank. I aim for about 100:1 in my tank at all times which would be aprox 400ml / 1 pint / 13 oz of oil to a full tank of fuel.

For break in tanks, or any time the oil injection has been opened you will want enough oil in your gas tank to fully lubricate the engine if your oil injection has a hiccup, has to work through a bubble, or airlocks. I shoot for 50:1
