what pipe set up to go with 08 m8?

just bought an 08 m8 woundering whats the best pipe set up and if you run aftermarket intake do u have to run a controller box? thanks,

SLP full pipe set hands down on the m8. If you run just the pipe depending on what elevation you are at you can get away with out a box sometimes. Everysled is a little different. If you run an aftermarket intake as well you will need a box. Either way I find it cheap insurance to keep from burning a motor.

Slp says no on the box if you just do the Ypipe,pipe and can with air box-high flow..
I just put this kit on last week so I have no time on it yet but from all I read about it sounds like guys sure like this set up.

firecat guy I noticed that you have double pipe retaining springs? why? shouldn't just one set be enough?

I broke a few last year on stock set up and went to two on each and never had problem!!

as I was finishing putting in the slp kit I seen in the directions that they don't recommend this--so I am going to try what is in slp directions..

they say to check each spring with a feeler gauge---

does anyone have info on this?I was just going to run the xtra springs?????
