What pin weights on Aerocharger setup?

Looking for your input clutching. Running Aerocharger, 7lbs, 22/49 gears, 8000', 20% 110. Looking for a ballpark of pinweight. Input?

I like your choice in springs and weight Fred. Never could figure out how some guys get these turbos clutched right with a 380 finish rate spring.

Just FYI...I bought Felkers clutch setup and gearing but continue to have trouble hitting the rev limiter. I have called and emailed them multiple times trying to get this right. I have the original receipt from them but it doesn't say what weight of pins they sold me, just says 'pin weights'. With all the correspondence with them, they cannot tell me what they sold me or what I should be running despite repeated requests. Is it possible that they truly don't know what they are selling? I can't imagine, so why can't I get any answers from them?
I don't know, but I have done my last business with Felker.

Prime example of why you should install your own kit, this is a simple ten minute job to remove primary and weight it yourself.. Scale at Walmart is ten dollars, find out what it is add three grams and viola... Your a happy camper

I have scales, and know exactly what weights I have in it, the weights they sent me were 15.33 grams. That doesn't seem like anywhere close to what it should be. Thats what I was asking them to confirm and they cannot tell me if it is even close. I am thinking they sent the wrong ones, that was the purpose of my original question in the post. I have worked up to 20.72 now, still on the limiter though.

Lank, what all did felkers give u in the kit? Was it complete primary and secondary kit? The reason I ask is the only thing they only changed mine to was custom ramps and a different spring and weights. Nothing in secondary and I think there's Some improvement to be made mine shifts out way to fast always having to fight to keep clutch back shifted.

Sounds like I got the same thing you did...'Custom' grind ramps, pins, springs for primary and secondary (one of which came stock with the sled, don't recall which) and 22/49 gearing. I have come to believe they simply sent me the wrong pin weights, the pins they sent weighed 15.33 grams, clearly not enough for a turbo setup. I am now running around 21.77 grams and am pretty close.

Ya i would say they definitely sent wrong pins cause I can run clicker 3 on trail if I'm careful usually hit 8200 though so i click down usually but clicker 3 off trail and run 8000-8100 generally at 7 pounds. I havnt pulled pins to get a weight though but think I'm gonna try aerocharger's clutch kit heard it's working really well so I'll weigh everything then

Fred, how much boost are you running?

4 to 6 lbs on average, days I go to 7..

We rode in Montana a few weeks back with a few sleds set up from ads in colarado.. They must have had less weigh in primary and I'm thinking elevation must be much higher their, because they poped off rev limiter and ran way to much rpm..

After dropping to clicker 1 it was better p, but still to high for my liking.. When your above 8000rpm often your odds of taking out reeds and det, is much higher

To me the best and quick primary adjustment is remove stock pins and add solids to the 21 to 23 gram range, and your riding and can use to the shift points quickly
