what kind of pants and jacket do you guys wear?

Sorry but I just never felt the need to jump on the Klim bandwagon. Dont get me wrong I am sure its great stuff but there are plenty of alternatives that work great for less money. HMK,Oakley,Tobe & others.

Anyway I use Oakley & no complaints at all. Plus it looks good at a good price.

After a couple years of having to buy a new coat/bibs every year because i was a cheap bastard, I'm now a rider of the bandwagon. I jumped on as i could afford to. Bibs and boots one year and , coat the next etc. I don't regret it one bit. Not only is the gear lasting, but I can ride all day and be dry and warm on the trip home.

There is a reason people wear KLIM, and its not to fit in with the crowd. KLIM stuff plain works and the warrenty is awesome. I probably won't ever buy anything else again.

KLIM is the original, Everyone else is just trying to copy them and play catch up.

klim is a good choice, as many have pointed out it is costly but I will attest to the durability. My first pair of klim pants are seven seasons old and still don't leak, they have outlasted five sleds or atleast they dont show their wear as much as the sleds do anyway.

I tried out Klim and being 5foot 8 and 240lbs, they don't fit at all. I found pants to fit but they were 9 inches to long. Those knee pads were way below my knees. Not to comfy for all day riding if you ask me!!!! You guys can keep your bandwagon Klim gear. And the guy selling all he wanted was a sale. He could care less if it fit or not. Just give me money!!!!!

I went with Klim for the same reason I went with a Polaris. Dealer support. Period. They have a great warranty, and my local dealer will stand behind it 100%. They are great people to deal with that know what they are doing and actually ride.

Klim might not be flashy enough for some, but you stay warm and dry for years of riding. If not, they take it back and replace it, usually with the latest stuff!

FXR all the way! Good quality and excellent customer support. Price point is good as well, not over priced and good selection

I come from the old school snowboard world and don't understand why people pay so much money for crappy gear with someone's else's logo on it in large florescent letters. Maybe you like being a walking billboard. I'm not getting paid to advertise for no one. I just promo gear and companies that treat me right.

Go ahead and stone me, but I ride Burton Snowboards AK gear. Most is Gortex/20k Waterproof, you have to look for the AK line though. Warranted FOR LIFE. Already got a new pair of pants last year out of that deal when I separated the seam at the bottom of my pants. You can buy lots of last years Burton AK gear at 30-70% off on the internet if you know where to look.

Snowboard gear is generally reinforced in the same areas that are important to sledding, knees and butt. The snowboard market is saturated so you can get gear a lot cheaper than "snowmobile" specific gear. That and warranties are pretty important to me, I'm hard on the equipment and generally shred a lot of gear in my first year using it.

For example, I busted the side retention clips on my Kilm drakkar motox pants on the first ride. Probably cause I'm fat. Reminds me, I need to warranty those suckers up. Right after this cheeseburger.

I wear snowboard gear, Have for 3 years now. It is great, Light weight, water proof. and Perfect for layering.
