what is this, help

I'm working on a 06 rev with a tra3 primary my old one retired, and I got a good deal on a 07 tra3 I know that they had problems with that year, I looked at them both really close and I cant find anything that will make that much diffrence beetween the two the question is what exactly makes the 07 not perform right, I came across two things that the new one had that the old one didnt, included are some pics can someone let me know what these are?

inside mooving shive in the two of the journals that the gov cup slides in, there is this washer in the bottom, one doesnt have it, and why are the studs diffrent length (new left, old right) what is their purpose

Clutch Stuff?

I don't know what I'm looking at in the first two shots, but the third one shows two arms with differant weight inside the pins. That is how I used to tune my old Ski-doo. I haven't any experiance with the newer stuff. I own a 96' Mxz 670. The pins we made were solid at first, then we threaded them and added or removed set screws to adjust weight. I would bet they still do it that way, but now I ride somthing else. Somone will know better than I do about the newer stuff. Good Luck-00's

thats the inside of the mooving part of the clutch it has three journals the gov cup slides on, two of them have this washer one doesnt

I understand that is the part the buttons slide inside, I don't know what the washer in the first pic is for? Do you have access to an exploded veiw of the clutch? I would look for a exploded view to see if the factory has a name for the part. Maybe give your local dealer a call and ask the service guys about it. Or, just give it a day and somone on here could help. -00's

I checked there is nothing like that on their microfiche

Yep, balancing washer. The threaded inserts are "pin weight", available ina variety of sizes (weights) and is one of the main tuning components along with different springs and ramps. Make sure all 3 pins have the same amount of weight and use a little loctite or they may spin out.
Is your '07 clutch a TRA 3 or TRA7?? Either way I would use the rollers from the OLD clutch as the new rollers are junk, will last only 4-500 miles before the bushing material is excessively worn. Aftermarket rollers are a good way to go on the '07 clutches.

From What I Have Heard The Older Tra's Are The Way To Go. They Are What Dynamo Joe Recomends With His Kits. I Donno I Have An Old Tra And Its Unreal.
