Just took my exhaust off to do some work on my 07 600 HO Carb. SLP Single and SLP Can (era 2007). There are a couple small hairline cracks appearing in my can, and it there is something inside rattling around. What do you think it is? Is it something that can be fixed or is it time for a new can? Thanks guys!

Had this same problem with the can on my dragon, called slp and told them what was going on and they warrantied it and sent me a new one, all I had to do was pay the shipping to ship the old one back. Mine was a couple of years old, so I would try that first. Good luck!!

Ceramic marbles. There was a ton of them in mine when I unpacked it. I had to shake the snot out of it for an hour to get them all to fall out before installing it.
It sounds like something bigger than marbles....kinda like a piece of sheet metal in there???
Had the same thing happen on my first SLP can for my 2007, sounds like a baffle busted loose in there. I called SLP about getting it fixed, an they said they couldn't fix it, but would sell me a new one at half price. I thought this was above and beyond, because I had bought it used.

Calling SLP today to see what they say. I bought this one used too, so technically it won't be under warranty. It will be interesting to see if they help me out or not.
