Snowmobilers generally live in rural areas, so they are self reliant and don't cry to the nanny state to fulfill all their desires. Snowmobilers are hard working people who produce goods and services that benefit society instead of sucking on the government tit. Sledders actually go into nature and experience it, instead of sitting in a Manhattan penthouse and blogging about it. Sledders believe in freedom, and liberals want to crush freedom. Pretty straightforward stuff...

Well put rubi, add to that, many sledders are self employed small bussiness owners. That right there will put you on the right. Sledders tend to think for themselves. Mountian riding in particular is all about the freedom to go out end enjoy the backcountry we all love. Free pepole and free thinkers are going to fall on the right of the political fence.

"this mess" could mean anything. For example: I could say, yes democrats are primarily responsible for "this mess". In which unbeknown to you, I was equating "Obama" with "the mess". Which, I can reasonably deduce, was not the intent of your statement. But, I can not accurately deduce, what you mean by "this mess", by the structure of your sentence. By knowing what "the mess" is, I could probably deduce what "dems" and "republicans" your speaking of, since no two persons within either group think exactly the same.

Could you please at least feed us what "the mess" is?

Yes Ambiguity is a tool. Mostly used by those which intend to get their end goal, without ever actually saying anything which can be nailed as a position.

So, us "right wingers" (your words) mostly are the way we are, due to the associations of the democratic party with forces opposed to us. My enemies enemy, is my friend. Or, my enemies friend, is my enemy. My point is, if the Democrat party left us alone, we probably would be able to move on to other topics, such as "the mess".

And no, "the mess" could be as broad as "the economy" or "the wars" or "the loss of freedoms" or "privacy" or "congressional spending" or "the housing market" or "the job market" or "the stock market" or "world opinion" or "energy" or "the financial system" or "wilderness creation".
