why are most hippies left wingers?
land use is not the whole picture, for me its the whole 'the spueaky wheel gets the grease' all these organizations calling for national parks to limit motor vehicle use just because 'they don't like it' They say one thing and do another, the politicians are 2 faced and it pizzes them off when people can see right through them so they exploit people like joe the plumber....

Because most of us were born, and raised in good homes, that promoted decent values and common sense.
seems to me like most liberals are crunchy granola hairy leggers that would rather strap on snow shoes and go for a little nature hike, go about half a mile and turn around and say they went and saw the wilderness. Then complain about all the snowmobilers buzzing past them who are going to go see real outdoors. So the hiary legger trys to shut down these areas and do nothing for the wilderness, but yet alot of snowmobilers are in clubs that raise money to help out the land use and wilderness and put in hard work including getting their hands dirty. While the hairy legger is pushing pencils and paper trying to shut down these areas and doing nothing for the so called wilderness........ Rant over.. maybe
Because we CHOOSE to live and work in rural America and don't like it one bit when *******s from the left or right coast try to dictate policy to us so the one week a year they are out here they don't have to see or hear anything "icky".
My entire f*cking way of life is under attack from the god damned liberals, maybe that's why I don't like them?

its about big government one size fits all policy vs. individual freedoms. Quite simple really. Look at land use, banning mini bikes, explosive spending, liberal judges handing private property to walmart and hiding behind imminent domain. Every time there is a new law someone loses.

There's not much snowmobiling in city limits. Therefore, they tend to think in ways common to small mountain towns. We are also actually in the forest, so we see the bad environmental policies, and the blatant lies of environmentalist. The environmentalist have been chosen by the liberals, environmentalist hate snowmobilers. We do things on powerful machines,that could get you killed, if you make a mistake. So, therefore NOT Liberal. People that participate in that sort of recreation, take responsibility for their own actions. Your not likely to see a real snowmobiler blame someone else, cause they hit a rock. A liberal would sue the forest service, or find some group to blame "it's the rich people's fault". Snowmobiling is expensive, so the type of people that do it either make good money, or are willing to do without other things for the sake of the sport. Something liberals seem not able to do. They don't want to do anything but complain and demand others have no fun. Snowmobilers tend to be logical thinkers, aka not liberal.
Basically, if the government gave away snowmobiles to welfare people, snowmobiling would be more liberal. If snowmobiling was in large cities, snowmobiling would be more liberal. If it considered "environmentally friendly", snowmobiling would be more liberal. If those that blame others for every problem in their life snowmobiled more, then snowmobiling would be more liberal. If you could say your a snowmobiler, with the same smirk as a "human powered recreationalist" does, then snowmobiling would be more liberal.
You might see more snowmobilers be liberal, if liberals embraced snowmobiling. But, when you have some unwashed liberal spit on you, you tend to want to split his skull wide open, not get to know him.
I answered your questions. Now tell me why most liberals hate snowmobilers? Why is it that liberal thinking has embraced environmentalism? What exactly is intrinsically liberal, about environmentalism? There all the same question, rephrased to clarify. Fair's fair, unless you think like a one sided liberal.
Yha, I've about had it with liberal, communist, socialist, thinking. I don't owe anyone anything. And, the majority has no right to deny me liberty and happiness. That's why this country was found as a Republic, not a Democracy. Look up the difference.

Snowmobilers generally live in rural areas, so they are self reliant and don't cry to the nanny state to fulfill all their desires. Snowmobilers are hard working people who produce goods and services that benefit society instead of sucking on the government tit. Sledders actually go into nature and experience it, instead of sitting in a Manhattan penthouse blogging about it. Sledders believe in freedom, and liberals want to crush freedom. Pretty straightforward stuff...

Im a hearing that sledders are primarily blue collar people, is that right? ( which is a good thing to be IMO )
Right wingers also seem to have a more aggressive nature, Im curious not pointing fingers or wanting to stir the pot (much)
