This Photo and caption reminded me of an applicable historical fact:

Breakdancing was pioneered in the Bronx by financially challenged young people who were so desperate they were efforting stealing hubcaps off moving cars. I can only imagine that on numerous occasions the results of those desperate actions led to many instaces of self inflicted carnage similar to that depicted in the photo and worse.
