Talked to him last week. Never met him before I called and he didn't remember my name on SW, but still gave me the time of day when he said he was kinda busy already to talk tuning on my sled as I was cross refrencing some of the stuff he's done to his 600's. Gave me almost half an hour time, could barely write down notes fast enough haha.
After the way he treated me I know I will do business with him in the future to support someone like that in our sport....

After reading all of the good feedback from EVERYONE on here, I decided to get a set of better boards. They were at my doorstep 3 days after my order, which I thought was ridiculously fast for this time of year. They went on in a few hours and they fit perfect and seem to be stronger than the originals. I will see how much I like them in the pow on Friday. Thanks Rob!

FYI - there are really smart people on this forum - I know of one off the top of my head - used to run his own quad racing/engine building business and now works for Boeing as an aerospace engineer/designer (something like that). So before you spout off about something being designed by a "nasa genius", stop, think, and then don't say anything.
Rob is probably the nicest guy I've EVER met. I was on a working trip to Jackson Hole a couple of years ago, and when I was there I bought a Digatron from him. We talked a bit of tuning, he was swaped with work, but still took his time to talk. Met him later at the Bar, and we got to talking and drinking. Next thing I know me and my buddy was invited to come over and ride with him and the rest of the gang next winter.
Took him up on it, and went to the snowmobile trip of my LIFE. Can't say enough good about him, and all his good friends....Loaning us sleds, letting us live in his house, inviting us ALL THE WAY from NORWAY to come ride. Who'd EVER do something like that? Just a class act like Rob....
Oh, and by the way...his products IS that good to.
On a side note, I'm trying to get ahold of him. If anybody talks to him, tell him to contact me, either by mail or pm. Tell him I can't call international anymore.

Rob is in McCall helping out a buddy like Scott said. Should see and or talk to him in a day or two. I have something he wants..... Bull I will tell him to get a hold of you we are having phone issues is the only reason we have not called in a while.... something about that internation calling this is a pain for them cell people to figure out.....

Last year there was a wager as to who would be faster up the hill.. Janet or Rob (this competition started years ago when they were at a grass drag race and I think Janet beat Rob's turbo with her 600).. anyway.. the loser of the 2008 Anthony Lakes HC was Janet.. loser wears a tutu for the 2009 race...

Race one...Janet was soundly defeated in our only ever heads up drag race (which was not even close to fair but I used superior leave skills to defeat her (she was dreaming of her championship acceptance speach and forgot to go when it went green).
Race two...Janet absolutely smoked me at the 07 Anthony Lakes Hillclimb. I raced poorly and then ate $hit huge on my first run and basically pu$$ed the rest of my runs. MEOW

Race three...With an overly confident feeling based on her results from the prior year there was now a "bet" instigated on our friendly competition. What Lil J forgot to factor in was the fact that I had just come off of a two year shelving from surgery and had no business hillclimb racing that past season. While I'm now half the man I used to be, things would be a bit different this time around. OH OH about ten seconds faster on average this year! Woops Rob wins another round and DOES NOT SPORT THE TUTU IN 09! YEA YEA

Janet is groaning in the corner so I will reply for her.. yes I do remember..she had the dreaded drag race loss that every driver fears... loss by a holeshot... and yes you spanked her last year...so the count is correct... she is making a tutu, large enough that it will be uni-sex... so as she said, "Rob wears it in 2010!!"
Great response Rob. Do you live close to McCall? I am going next month. Would love to maybe ride a day or 2 with you.
I won't go into details, but Rob was hands down the best customer service experience I've had in the snowmobile world, and everything I've bought from him has worked just like he said it would or better. Nothing but good to say from me.
