MPI is where I got a Eckholm for my Viper, about a year later I went to tunnel my MM and they had begun making Eckholm clones due to availbility reasons. Like many of the great things MPI use to mfg and sell they've gotten a way from tunnels to. The Eckholm/MPI tunnel where sweet and after putting about a dozen on for people I had it down to about a 9hr process. They'd come with all the holes for the skid with starter holes and all you had to do was open them up to 10mm for the bolts. Another plus was the drop and roll chain case.

I've tunneled a couple of sleds using VamAberg's tunnels and they are nice plus they support the product.

Another option is a Fabcraft, I've never installed one but they are nice plus you guest it they support the product.

elkholm tunnels originated in summerland, bc. they were designed by larry. mpi liked them and kinda partnered up i think. they were great tunnels with a big drop and roll. haven't heard much about them for yrs.

Well, I'm fabricating up my own tunnel for my Edge RMK and making patterns for it..... I should do the same for the old 700 MM. I'm making it similar to a boondocker type tunnel, kind of like the VE but with my own twist to it.

Ekholm kinda got split up quite a few years back. I belive the same basic tunnels with d&r might still be available thru MTNSLEDTECH out of Alberta.

I have a MM with an Ekholm tunnel I will be selling the whole sled or parting out soon if interested. Also have a spare chaincase with the brake caliper mod for the Ekholm or MPI d&r. I also build extended chaincase kits for the MM if you wanted to go that route.

I would be interested in your tunnel! That's if your going to part it out. Do you have pictures of it by chance? What suspension do you have under it (stock, polaris, other)? The chaincase sounds neat as well. You sound like a fabricator yourself LOL..... Thanks
