the original slednecks, 1-4 were the best. i still think 4 was the best movie they've put out so far. ya the new ones have better sleds and all that crap but in 4 they had awesome riding and they showed some of the antics that go on behind the scenes that make you laugh too.

I love the light hearted humor of the Alticity movies. Don't get me wrong, sometimes I like watching a no frills just hardcore sled movie, but to be honest, when I ride with my group, we're the stooges on ice! Just makes them more fun to watch, and a little bit easier to relate to.
actually the turnagain harcore movies are all about the local guys they pay there way mostly and arent riding expensive a$$ sleds there out there for the fun of it and to go big there the ones keepin it the realist IMO
check out the 10 high films this year we ride mostly stock and work 5 6 days a week and do this on the weekend. have to fix sleds during the week so we can ride the weekends o and we like filming the drunk stuff to. in jackson this year we had a keg in the stands at the freestyle that was gone at the end of the show and we had a dude do a keg stand in the condo that was in a wheel chair with 2 broken lags. check it out you will like the off the wall stuff we do

For me it would be stuff that we can put our hands around sort of deal. Most sleds aren't turbo monsters so having things that the typical backcountry rider can watch and say, lets try that or hey, those are doable if we are ever there.
Also more riding in the "meat" of the season. Doing a lot of the climbs in the April or May makes for great climbing shots and the "wow" factor but try and do some of that in time of season in which there isn't a 4' concrete base with some dust on crust so to speak.

have anyone of you seen the boondockers films??? it seems like that is exactly what you are wanting. normal people on normal sleds doing some awesome riding with a little bit of hardcore climbers and really crazy people climbin some intense stuff
I can't think of too many films that have trail racing. A lot of us have to ride trails to get to a good riding spot and we normally race our friends to get there. Strap on a helmet cam and go. It would be preferred that the rider is fast.
dont forget the wrecks and the process of ni**er riggin it so get it out like this lol
The Boondocker series is good stuff. The movies are not very long 30-45 min. BUT there is no BS, just awesome non stop footage.

All of the films Mark Fry made before he passed were great.
basically youngster go watch the Nitro Circus and do that with sleds.
by far out of all the sled and bike films TP has it figured.
didn't he do gravity meltdown, back around 1999 or something?

lol well...we drove to snow and parked and went 3.7 miles until we hit this 2 mile section of dirt.. i had just went down by the river to find a place to cross so i was headed the wrong way. it was a south facing section of the road so it was all burnt off lol. we didnt go past becasue the two guys i was with pussed out and didnt want to hurt their sleds. i told them to pack their skids runnin boards and tunnels with snow and haul *** but they didnt want to.
