What Do You Consider to be the Best Snowbike Accessories?

We tried a muffpot on a ktm500 didn't even get it warm after hours of riding to much snow hitting it under rear fender

Fisher seat totally worth the money. My narrow a$$ could only ride once a weekend before the new seat now all day without even thinking about it

Burnt Bibs

On my Timbersled demo ride, I had to move out of the way quickly and sure enough, I bumper right into the Husaberg muffler tip and melted my Klim pants. I got the repair estimate to fix it yesterday and it's $230 to repair the pants. Yikes! I'm not sure what to do..
I heard the story last week when I went up to sandpoint to go riding.

Was there a big difference in your seat, comfort wise?

I can't speak to the comfort of the Guts Racing seat, since they don't make one for my bike, but I got a Seat Concepts seat and it's waaay more comfortable than stock. I think it's even more comfortable than the stock seat on my KLR650. Last year, without the new seat, my butt bones would be sore for a week after riding for a day. And now, not sore at all.

I LOVE this Alphageek:

"Last year, without the new seat, my butt bones would be sore for a week after riding for a day."

I bet a doctor would say we really don't have butt bones but, I know exactly what you mean! :face-icon-small-blu

yes quite a bit of difference from stock on the YZ. My friend bought the WR "comfort foam" and cover, for his YZ. Its not as soft, but a lot wider. We prob will switch seats on tomorrows ride and compare.

I am thinking I would like a handlebar bag to store small items. I'd prefer one that is situated on the back side (driver's side) of the bar.

Does anyone have one they really like and would recommend?

Awesome!

So does one need the cover over the top to keep the snow from cooling off the food in the muffpot?

If so, did you make or buy the cover?

SOS shovel with the saw in the handle always carry that in my backpack.
2'' Rox handle bar risers and 1.5 inch rear set and 1 inch wider foot peg relocate (home made easy on Yamahas) makes a huge difference as well.

#1 accessory is SNOW

All that thread talk of tugging on your front and rear…read above if that no make sense…you missed the #1 most obvious accessory - SNOW! These kits are exceptionally difficult to ride without it.
