What diesel do you run?

I ran into a Harley GUy today. He was wearing a NMFH so I just had to go talk to this guy.

Anyway, as Im walking up, I smell Klotz, or similar, since he had just shut off.

I asked him what the smell was and he said he runs Klotz snowmobile oil in his Harley. I was like huh, so you sled too. I asked how the helmet worked in the snow, got a good chuckle and left.

I've been cracking up all day since. I need one of those belt buckle cams............

GF keeps asking why I keep laughing.

Sledneck9

I just bought an 05 6.0 diesel. I found this website and the guy knows his powerstrokes. www.powerstrokehelp.com click on the 6.0 and go to the 3 Fs. click on the third video. He will tell you everything you need to know and then some.

All the cycle cops wear em out here. It's ***gin awesome.

BTW, found out how to street legal a CRF450

Met a guy with full on race bike, with 17 inch wheels, a CRF-x headlight and a little LED brake/taillight.

Plate is mounted to the airbox area.

Think Im gonna build one. I rode that thing, **** man, nothings funner than ripping down the street full moto with numbers and all knowing you are 100% Legal.

His **** looks similar to this. I know it's Super tard, but man, we went out for a day and it beats crotch rockets and **** for the fun factor. Now, I if I can do what the guy did with the KDX 2 stroke to my old 93 Factory KX 250, I'll be stoked.
Never gonna sell it, may as well ride it. It will stay with a stock 450F no problem.
Still has the AMA Supercross tech strap on the frame.

I've been looking at the Aprilias for years. But the street legal version.

My buddy has a CRF-450 tarded out that is and ****, they are a blast. Plus you can hop curbs, jump medians, moto on the street if you will.

The ONLY reason I havent gotten an Aprilia yet is becasue every single person with them has a problem with parts availablity.

And, most said it would have been better to get a Husky, Or KTM ready to go.

That said, no one really can confirm Husky parts etc are that available either(but they look trick)SOOOOOOOOO
I've been leaning KTM.

Strip[ the mirrors(Leave the cupholder(kidding) and this 610 would be good.

The Aprilia though is pimp.

Mike, I'll be honest, I'm in the best shape ever, but pure moto and the local SX tracks is out for me, mostly becasue I'm not interested in traveling to ride tracks anymore, so A dual sport or SUper tard with grooved tires is about what I need.

Really, my off road time would be nill except to blast some fireroads etc looking for new sledding spots.

Plus, the one time I saw a Aprilia SUpemoto roll up to Starbucks, all the harley guys, and crotch rocket guys literally started wackin off and breathing out of their mouths.

Sex on wheels I guess. Plus, this **** is really growing on me. I wouldnt mind actually racing supermoto course near me(they hit Zero dirt and run a huge shifter kart track.

That duck is alot of bike.

I dunno, my buddy has his 450 F geared for about 100.

Most have said the 450 is a bit small for alot of strreet use becasue the gearing kills the torque, especially in elevation, but I figure a 505-610 is plenty for me.

EVERYONE, has said the Aprilia twin 550 is more than anyone ever needs in a motard.
I weigh 180 and most these guys are 200+
