What did you Snowcheck and why?

Snow Checked a white 600 Pro-RMK 155 to go with my 2011 Snow Check 800 Pro-RMK 155. I got tired of riding my 03 Vertical Escape when my wife would ride my new 800 Pro-RMK this season so I decided I'd buy her the 600 Pro-RMK so I can have my 800 Pro-RMK back!

I was amazed at the difference how much better my Pro-RMK 155 rode, handled, floated, sidehilled, etc than my Vertical Escape. It was like night and day.

I'm also intruiged by the comments that have been made by those who have ridden the 600 Pro-RMK.

In the end having a 600 and an 800 Pro-RMK will make an excellent pair. They will go great with my 3 year old son's 07 Dragon 120...

Great Pic & Family! I love seeing families out enjoying the sport!

Switchback Assault. Love every detail Poo has put into their sleds. Hate the Doo looks, ride and handling that I have rode. Yamaha (tanks) no thanks. Cat...way to heavy yet and design details are questionable to me. No 4 stroke for this guy. Polaris has not been too reliable until 2011. With reliability ( I believe they have er licked) resolved and from the reports I hear from friends who own them and other forum reports Poo I believe has an all around winner in all aspects. I get to find out for myself this winter.

Pro RMK 800 Orange/Black 163, tunnel stiffeners, switchback seat. Got tired of being spanked by one for 4 days on my M1000.

If you can't beat em; join em!!!!!

Assault with the 5.1 powder track and short windshield.

I went back and forth between the Pro RMK and the Assault but when it came down to it, I really wanted the upgraded shocks after riding an RMK with the standard shocks.

The graphics will be coming off, adding some venting (and some other goodies) and I may just leave it mainly white and black, with the few red accents here and there. When I get bored with that look, I’ll go with a wrap or throw the extra red panels on that I ordered.

163 Pro, black with the red powder coated suspension. Why well 1 they are The Best sled out there. 2, you get the 1000.00 bucks back from Polaris, for back to back snowcheck this yr.

Just about ordered a new 163 PRO but I got everything I want on my 2011 and it's all set-up great for me. I like the looks of my turbo silver with the polished tunnel better than anything I could of built from the 2012s. Might even powder coat a-arms or get them chromed. Awesome sled.

I cant believe I did this but, I bought a Poo.....

I snow checked a 163" orange Pro.
I did it as I was looking for a new sled anyhow. I have owned three new Skidoo's, two Yamaha's and one Arctic cat since 05'. I still own the Yamaha's and the AC. The Yamaha's have been the most reliable sleds I have ever owned even being turboed, but the AC has been the funnest so, I was looking at something very light, something that takes very well to forced induction, and one that handles well.
I certainly hope I made the right choice..... we will see.

JSCC, I think you will like it...let us know when you get to ride next season..a ride report would be interesting............

Well there you have it: what say like 97.9% of you seeing some kind of long tracked 800 sled in your future, something like 2% thinking 155 600's are the answer, and 0.05% each for a pimped out Rush and my 144 600. Can't believe so many got this thing wrong.:face-icon-small-coo

Well have a safe summer all, gotta go now, the new Big Boss is calling for a mudding.

Snowchecked the assault with the assault track since I'm in Quebec for now. I was debating between the rpo and the assault but like most I wanted the upgraded suspension. I got the 2 year warranty with the 1000$ in accessories since it's the first sled I'm buying. Rode many different sled in my life but never owned one myself so I jumped in this year after many years of dreaming. I just hope I didn't jinx our region for snow lol.

pro rmk

Went with the black 163 and also ordered the white side panels for $350. Been on m series cats since 05 just think this Pro is that much better after looking everything over at the West Yellowstone show.

I went with the 600 PRO 155" ... This thing is a rocket-ship and is easier to throw around than the 800. Not to mention that it costs about $1100 less to own... For the EXACT same chassis... only the motor is different.

I know that many will say... "I have an 800 and I can put it wherever I want to"... I agree... the PRO chassis is just that good... but with the 600 you will be less tired at the end of the day and you WILL be able to maneuver it even better than the 8's.

Sometimes, especially when you are trying to step up your game... an 800 can slow that process. If you are already an expert rider, or absolutely have to have the the highest mark on the hilll, get the 800... But, after watching Dan Adams, Tyler Swarm and vids of Burandt on the 600... I'd have to say it is the rider more than the small difference in HP/torque.

Most people I've run into out on the mountain riding an 800 (now remember that most are not expert/advanced riders) would be better off, both for the pocket book and the "fun factor" on a 600... they bought the 800 for ego reasons IMO. If you really DO need the power... then this post really does not apply to you.

MY 2 cents.

Im curious how the 600 PRO could possibly be "easier to throw around" ? same chasis, same weight, same track length, same supsension, but less HP? I must be missing something.

I was going to snocheck the 2012 600 Pro for my son and even the dealer said they couldnt imagine why anyone would, unless purely because they couldnt hold onto the 800's power. Now if the 600 were 20 pounds lighter, maybe a 146 track and more flickable I could see there being a good reason .... but all things equal other than HP there is no choice from my persepective... but I will admit I might be missing something, I mean it does seem like the 600 barrels would weigh a little less. My 15 year old son who weighs all of 110 can throw the my 2011 800 PRO around and the power is so linear he doesnt seem to be overpowered.

I guess the question to ask is how experianced is your son ? and do you want him on an 800 ? Bigger CCs' means things can go wrong a lot faster ? How many people do you know that have mastered a 600 ? Just questions . It's not about bragging rights when it comes to the family , and as far as the salesman goes if you told him it was for your son or my son I'd have a tough time from telling him to go some where . Think about it ?

Go Pro or go home!

A 12 orange madness 155, 2010 144 RMK is going down the trail. Has 945 mile w/o a problem, good enough for one season not going to risk a second. I need the 155 to eat the lunch of the 141 M8's I ride with
