What did you Snowcheck and why?

Pro 155 orange. Because I liked my 2011 alot and felt I was throwing away 1000 dollars polaris was offering me to trade up. Its not what you spend its what you save! (women mentality)

800 Pro Orange 155 ES to replace my 11 Pro 155 ES which had replaced my 08 Dragon 155 which had blown first of the season. Wife is replacing her 07 Switchback for the 600 Pro ES after the demo ride. The $1000 rebate and 4yr plus 1yr no interest made it time to step up now.:face-icon-small-ton

Snowchecked a PRO 800 155 for my son (he has been riding my 2011 PRO alot). Also the Adventure for the wife!:face-icon-small-hap

Assault RMK w/ the 5.1 track. mostly because I wanted a 155 pro, but wanted the upgraded shocks of the Assault. I'll be able to deal with the extra width no problem :face-icon-small-coo I will have to do something about those crazy graphics though...

X2 to the T. :beer;

I went with the 600 PRO 155" ... This thing is a rocket-ship and is easier to throw around than the 800. Not to mention that it costs about $1100 less to own... For the EXACT same chassis... only the motor is different.

I know that many will say... "I have an 800 and I can put it wherever I want to"... I agree... the PRO chassis is just that good... but with the 600 you will be less tired at the end of the day and you WILL be able to maneuver it even better than the 8's.

Sometimes, especially when you are trying to step up your game... an 800 can slow that process. If you are already an expert rider, or absolutely have to have the the highest mark on the hilll, get the 800... But, after watching Dan Adams, Tyler Swarm and vids of Burandt on the 600... I'd have to say it is the rider more than the small difference in HP/torque.

Most people I've run into out on the mountain riding an 800 (now remember that most are not expert/advanced riders) would be better off, both for the pocket book and the "fun factor" on a 600... they bought the 800 for ego reasons IMO. If you really DO need the power... then this post really does not apply to you.

MY 2 cents.

I totally agree with Mountainhorse, I gave the 600 a lot of thought, all thou I wasn't able to get a very long demo ride in (Couldn't get it away from my daughter) I rode it enough to tell the new 600 is an over achiever, I feel it is very capable of running beyond my D8, it would have also made my wife and daughter happy. In the end the fun factor of the 800 with the shock package of an Assault with a powder track helped me make my decision.

My 12 year old daughter getting some seat time in on the 2012 PRO 600 at Mt Baker, Wa.

Base RMK 155"...using the $$ I saved to buy some fox floats and maybe timbersleds rear arm. Other than that, a bar riser and throw my team tied on it and I'm good to go.

Oh, also will be setting up a blower.....but not what you think. Removing the headlights, h20proof material over holes, and a 12V ducted motor to pipe cold air over the primary so I don't have to cut holes in the side panels and void the warranty! Good use of the electricity and even though Poos are good with belts a cooler primary is going to make it go even better.

163 Black pro-ride, upgrading from my 2011 155 600, its everything that 600 has to haul a 250+ guy around.

Snowchecked a Pro R 800 LE. Bought a 2011 Pro RMK this year with 1000 flawless miles so I decided to get a ditchbanger/trail sled to go along with it. Gonna have the best of both worlds now :)

This is, IMO, the sharpest color scheme from Polaris this year!!

Pro 600, new bars, revalving shocks, and a wrap so I don't look like everyone else this year...lol. A few other little things but on a whole looking forward to riding the crap out of it next year.

My first new sled, hopefully (well I know it will be) this will be the sled that prys me off of the m7.

My only issue now is why do they ship them so late compared to cat? Having to wait till the end of Oct and possibly longer is not nice. We'll have already missed the first just-for-kicks ride of the year.

The chassis and the new motor calibrations make that BIG of a diff...

I had a 2009 700 RMK that was perfectly tuned and clutched....would walk all over a 2010 600 RMK 155"... same setup, track etc. The 2012 600 would absolutely walk all over both of them both in the Highmark and the overall maneuverability and perf...A 600 PRO RMK is a HUGE step-up from any of the Previous 600's (and 700's for that matter)

I see where you are coming from...good to try diff things!!
Good luck with the rest of the season... Ours will be here thru end of July!!!

I hear you. Polaris has always made a strong 600. My 08 felt much better than my 06. I believe the one in the Pro will be awesome. My season is over which is a good thing so I can start and finish my house remodel before next season. LOL.

Black Pro 163, because I sold my 09 D8 163 to the only reply I received from Craigslist. It was a good sled, over 2000 trouble free miles.

Orange Pro 163...

1. 163 for fat guy floatation
2. Orange to get the black suspension
3. 800, see #1. Seriously thought about a 6, as my Carl's 660 was one of the funnest sleds I've owned. But like previously stated, us big guys need the extra onion.

Same as a few others... Assault with the 5.1 powder track.. Gonna have a really low miled '10 Dragon for sale lol. Wanted the new chassis so bad after riding one. Went Assault for the better shocks, as I sure find the Walkers on my Dragon lacking..
Now about them fugly graphics on the Assault...

800 Pro 163 orange

After riding it side by side next to a new Etec XP it was the winner for me. It got up on the snow quickly and it's a great side hiller. Polaris did a awesome job designing the platform. I'm crossing my fingers on the motor.

Assault with the powder track. 2000 miles and still have a solid month to go on the '11 Assault. I will use the '11 as the early year stump jumper!
