What did you Snowcheck and why?

The deadline has come and gone on tuesday, so I am assuming most people have done their dealing and are anciously awaiting our new toys.

For the first time for me I snowchecked a new machine! Ordered a 2012 Black PRO-RMK 155. 3 year warranty(canada). I dont like the orange or the retro and the black looks even better than last years Pro in red and black.

Cant wait for next season already. Traded in my 2008 dragon 700 rmk for a great deal with 6700km on it for my new Pro-ride. Still ran like a top!

I snowchecked a 163 Pro, Retro graphics for one reason. It is the best handling chassis for a boondocker that's ever been built, bar none. I don't give a chit if it has the most power or whether it will always set the highmark, but, from riding it, I know it has the most agile, flickable chassis on the planet.

A 144 RMKes. It was the best sled considering it will be morphed into an Iron Dog ride. All the good stuff will be added later.

This snowcheck will be my first new sled I have bought. I rented a std Rmk out west and loved it other then the soft shocks,so I ordered a Assault for the upgraded susp.

Assault RMK w/ the 5.1 track. mostly because I wanted a 155 pro, but wanted the upgraded shocks of the Assault. I'll be able to deal with the extra width no problem :face-icon-small-coo I will have to do something about those crazy graphics though...

09 800 D is going down the road as soon as it gets the PSM fix installed, snow checked a Black 800 155 Pro.........

Put some miles on my dads '11 155 pro last winter so i decided i needed one for myself. Orange 155 pro. First new sled for me to now the ****ty waiting game!!!!

Went with the pro 163 black. Usually like the neutral colors and am doing a wrap that has red and white in it so went with the black. Usuaually ride 155's but am doing a silber turbo thats the reason for the 163 since I like to climb.

I didn't snow check anything. I bought an '11 Pro with a Silber turbo from Justin Silbernagel. Has the turbo already on it for about what you guys are paying for stock. Got boost!

I went with the 600 PRO 155" ... This thing is a rocket-ship and is easier to throw around than the 800. Not to mention that it costs about $1100 less to own... For the EXACT same chassis... only the motor is different.

I know that many will say... "I have an 800 and I can put it wherever I want to"... I agree... the PRO chassis is just that good... but with the 600 you will be less tired at the end of the day and you WILL be able to maneuver it even better than the 8's.

Sometimes, especially when you are trying to step up your game... an 800 can slow that process. If you are already an expert rider, or absolutely have to have the the highest mark on the hilll, get the 800... But, after watching Dan Adams, Tyler Swarm and vids of Burandt on the 600... I'd have to say it is the rider more than the small difference in HP/torque.

Most people I've run into out on the mountain riding an 800 (now remember that most are not expert/advanced riders) would be better off, both for the pocket book and the "fun factor" on a 600... they bought the 800 for ego reasons IMO. If you really DO need the power... then this post really does not apply to you.

MY 2 cents.

I've been on the 600 for the last 4 years (08 RMK 144) and I'm ready for a bigger motor. So I think. I ordered a ProRMK 155 in Black.

Orange Pro 155
RMK Seat
Low Windshield
4 Year warranty

Ordered spare black side panels so I can put a wrap on them and change up my look from time to time. Extreme front bumper, will powder coat black.

The chassis and the new motor calibrations make that BIG of a diff...

I had a 2009 700 RMK that was perfectly tuned and clutched....would walk all over a 2010 600 RMK 155"... same setup, track etc. The 2012 600 would absolutely walk all over both of them both in the Highmark and the overall maneuverability and perf...A 600 PRO RMK is a HUGE step-up from any of the Previous 600's (and 700's for that matter)

I see where you are coming from...good to try diff things!!
Good luck with the rest of the season... Ours will be here thru end of July!!!

Changed my order from a standard RMK 800 with easy start to a back pro 155 800 ES.I thought abought it over the weekend a decided I liked my pro taper bars too much on my D800.I traded off my 09 D800 and took the hit but at least I never had to pay for a blown engine. With trading in I no longer have to store it or had to put down a deposit

Ordered an RMK Assault w/ 5.1. Wanted the better shocks. I also ordered the Gray panels to put on my SB Assault and the snow check white 800 Pro RMK panels when I get sick of the stock Assault panels.

Assault w/ the 5.1 track. Because I wanted the upgraded shocks of the Assault. I'll be able to deal with the extra width no problem 6'3". I'm going to do a wrap too.
