In my area the wages are probably a bit more than most as we are a oil/gas town and huge farms , my shop rate is 100$ per hour , that’s 45$ less than local dealer a average wage would be 18$ to start and 45 higher end dependent on your skills

Dose anyone know the 520 commodity charge was that part of the retail price or was it normally over above

Forgot out the door price was 24552 154 turbo expert small gauge we really get it dry here in Canada but our dollar is only worth 2/3 of the us buck so understandable
Where in Canada did u pay 24552 otd for a summit x expert 154 turbo? I just picked my 154 turbo expert with small guage for $27500 OTD, here in B.C. Canada.

It’s a shame they don’t offer the same 165 hp turbo as before. It’s got more than enough power. A turbo summit x is now more than the turbo expert was last year ?‍?
I would blame inflation and the new chassis on the price increase, not the 15 additional hp.

that additional 15 hp also warranted a new/redesigned cylinder head and primary clutch and i'm sure other tweaks and there's obviously cost in that.

Not sure I knew that, figured it was pretty much a tune and different clutching.

Regardless I welcome the additional hp, even if theres a little cost there... I'm also glad the Doo was still a couple thousand less than a similar Polaris.

I was told my 154 Expert, 2 button gauge will be $19,600. They didn't mention any setup or freight fees... but I have not gotten it yet. I'm sure there will be $100 or so doc fee, and taxes will be paid at the courthouse.

there's a good vid that brp released at snowcheck outlining all the technical changes they made to include what they had to do to support the additional hp. for the head they needed to increase cooling and i think they changed the spark plug location a bit. we all want these cool features but all that r&d costs money. having said that, these sleds are bloody expensive especially when adding in the accessories and then the sting again of not really getting your money back for the accessories when time to sell but the upside is if your price is realistic, the accessories make it easier to be firm on that price.
